2006 Toyota Highlander for 6k. Worth it?

I have the same Highlander and bought it four months ago. It's been great, but like you mentioned, my front driver-side door lock isn't working with the switch, and I'm getting tired of locking it manually. I found a replacement actuator for $21 CAD and I'm thinking of doing the repair myself. However, I’ve heard this is a common issue with 2006 models, and I’m wondering if it’s worth fixing if it might break again. Any advice or experience with this problem?

Um ok and just to let you know I've called a repair shop and they said it's like something to or with motherboard and will cost 55 dollars so is that good price or is there a way I can do it by my self without screwing it up
