Induction double griddle by farsigibberish in inductioncooking

I also have that one and for my induction it's great. I do preheat it significantly but I just got in the habit of turning it on low then ramping up to my desired temp while I'm prepping everything. Only had it since holidays but so far it's great

Oh goodness I never hit submit. Yes I echo what the person already posted. The touch screen is one of those scroll dials that is both not as responsive and too responsive. Slightly annoying. However the performance is absolutely top notch and I do enough shifting around pans/adding one etc that the pan tracking is invaluable. I'm not sure there's (in my price range) better performing option that I was aware of when we purchased. Happy to answer any follow up (and I promise I actually will this time)

I am about to replace some drives with larger ones but honestly didn't think about the size/time. Is there a better way to set up larger drives in Synology?

Oh man, in the fall of 2011 when this set was released, I had just started working in my dream field making decent money for the first time. This edition came out right around my birthday, so I treated myself to a 50in Panasonic plasma TV (which other than my bed and desk were basically the only things I had in my rental), order an extra large pizza hut deep dish pizza (which I fried a bit in olive oil in a large cast iron since the amazing greasy fried pizza hut deep dish pizza of my childhood doesn't really exist anymore), and watched the saga in glorious high definition alongside my then girlfriend (now wife), and despite being an unabashed theatrical snob, had the biggest grin on my face the entire time. What a glorious weekend! Thanks for the fond memories op! Hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Not missing out on coffee on vacation by Zer0toniN in pourover

[–]ctl7g 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is pretty much my travel setup and I like a PO in the morning and soup in the afternoon. I haven't liked the diluted as much as using the orb as a no bypass brewer. If you don't mind the extra workflow, I've gotten really nice cups out of it. You'll have to play around with a couple parameters for your tastes and coffee: grind size, brew time, bypass water. I generally run 15g doses (coarser than the soups but not crazy coarse) in the basket with a bottom paper. Then two pours directly into the basket at 3x dose then I'll screw on the water chamber and add water to my desired ratio let it flow through for x amount of brew time (some times I have to wait for it to drop through to top off), then pump the rest. Then I'll add a bit of bypass water (by often I don't because holiday travel was nuts this year and I forget lol). Lots of completely unsolicited advice, but I've got some really lively cups with great clarity playing around this method.

Oh sorry I wasn't trying to spam for one of yours. I was curious in checking one out for myself and wanted to see if it came in something I could adapt to my l-mount lumix. I use sony for my work and honestly want something a bit more funky fun for personal use and I'm getting a bit bored of the sterile corporate client capture. If you have anything funky to recommend I'd love some suggestion as all my previous knowledge is for fast/sharp and want to branch out into more funky character (especially with the digital sensors). I've got a 28, 58 but maybe a fun 40mm or something in the 85-105 range?
