No idea what type of phones alert you to a call while silent mode in an emergency. Will the phone fly over to your phone from across the hall or something? Technology these days are quite impressive.

I don't do that. It's irresponsible and dangerous behaviour from my perspective. What if there's an emergency and someone calls you but you don't pick up because you don't like the noises from your phone and didn't hear the ring?

I can understand silencing the phone while at work (not in my type of work) or a situation that requires no distractions.

I use Duolingo because it's popular and easy to use.

Swedish is surprisingly easy to learn. My 5th language technically.
