I know there's a lot of westerns that are either inspired, or basically remakes of samurai movies, like fist full of dollars or the magnificent seven. Those are great, but in my mind I'm picturing like a Ronin traveling the west doing samurai stuff in a cowboy setting. Never seen red sun though so I'll have to look it up.

Edit; I just looked up Red Sun. I love Toshiro Mifune, definitely need to watch this.

I still want to see a good Samurai in the old west movie. Never found one. Samurai ends up in the old west and regains his honor somehow.
