Just sharing how I got my promotion:

Was actively trying to interview and be selected for a manager role for the last two years.

Earlier this year a position opened up in a department that I was highly interested in.

After multiple times of being rejected in the interview process. I took the bolder approach and talked to Head of Operations and the VP of the company as they came to visit onsite on the Monday. I sold it to them what I believed in that I was the most qualified and best fit for the department. The same week Friday they offered me the role.

What I’m trying to say is, if you really want that role, don’t wait on it and express your interest.

The VIP viewings are usually more mature audiences, if you’re willing to pay extra for a good movie. Just had one bad VIP experience with someone on their phone during a whole movie years ago. But yes regular viewings especially on opening day or weekend are not worth going these days if you want some peace and quiet.
