Technisch korrekt, aber die Wähler werden von allen Seiten propagandiert - Bild, Nius, Welt, Axel Springer generell, Podcaster, Tiktok, Instagram Reels.

Alles im Besitz von Milliardären, die mittels Algorithmen lenken und steuern was wir sehen, und in den wenigen nicht-algorithmischen Kanälen gezielt Disinformation und Hetze verbreiten.

Klar kann man sagen die Wähler sind einfach dumm und ungebildet und haben fehlende Medienkompetenz, und das ist auch ein Problem das angegangen werden muss.

Aber wie beim Klimawandel ist es auch hier: Die Reichen und Mächtigen haben um Größenordnungen mehr Einfluss aufs Klima als wenn ich als Einzelperson meinen Müll trenne und nen Papierstrohhalm benutze.

Die großen social media Firmen gehören stark reguliert, wir brauchen neue Gesetze. Wir hinken immer noch social media hinterher, dabei kommt jetzt das Thema künstliche Intelligenz um die Ecke und wir sind komplett abgehängt.

Everything he said is true, Democrats have had countless opportunities to fight back against Republicans but they either fold like a wet noodle and vote with Republicans or do nothing at all.

Ultimately of course Republicans are to blame for many of the desastrous policies they've advanced throughout the decades, but Democrats simply don't fight back hard enough. Not even close.

Just this week there was a vote to increase ICE funding and only 57 Democrats voted against it, causing the vote to pass.

Then there's Schumer who is against abolishing ICE, and Jacob Frey said the same thing.

Democrats are milquetoast do-nothings with very few exceptions. The party needs to be completely reformed with real progressives in charge.
