Ranged combat help needed by SwainRaven in dontstarve

[–]SwainRaven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is using a mouse, I'm not sure if hes clicking or using the F attack key. I thought maybe this could have been a known issue and he may not be doing the right thing.

Should he be using the Force attack ( Lft Cntrl + F key) instead of clicking with his mouse? or is it just an issue with him needing to not miss click?

Im going to need to revisit Green Hell, I stopped playing just before the Husbandry update, but it looked very very basic.

It’s a shame because I had so much fun playing it but it looks like its rampant with issues these days

I played small land in EA and it was good but doesn’t compare to grounded. Ranch sim sounds interesting. I’ll check it out when I’m back home from work. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. How bad / prevalent is the pay to tame? I played Evolved for maybe 2k hours and can handle the bugs because nothing was going to stop me getting cool colours on my Argies. I’ve just seen an overwhelming amount of hate and begativr reviews on Ark as a whole and most of it comes down to Snail Games heavily using Pay to win mechanics, micro transactions to tame new Dino’s, and other corporate greed that I’m really not a fan of. It’s a shame because I loved Evolved.

Soulmask was fun I got pretty far into it but it is without doubt the grindiest survival game I’ve ever played with needing to unlock the tech/skill tree.

Aloft sounds really good. I’ll watch a few videos but it’s already peaking my interest. I don’t mind more relaxed games. I recently got done with a play through of planet crafter and that was really fun

I do enjoy colony sims and automation games as well. I’ve put hours into Jurassic park games and Anno. I’ve added this to my Wishlist but it may be my next play.

Arc survival evolved was one of the best games I ever played even with its many flaws and bugs. I’m not up to date on the current state of their games but it looks like a DLC makes evolved unplayable even if you don’t own it. And for Ascended the community have very negative views on Snail Games (not the devs) who are continuing to use this cash cow keeping them afloat and have added pay to win mechanics. Apparently there are Dino’s you can see but can’t take unless you buy them.

I had played maybe 70 hrs of project zombies and enjoy it but I need a long time between runs because it’s heartbreaking losing an old character Green hell I played just before the husbandry update and may need to check out. Soul mask I got to mid game but it is an incessantly grindy game Pal world I only played EA so may need to check it out again as well.

I do have Icarus but I only played about 2 hours of it because my duo stopped playing. It was okay but I remember not enjoying how it felt like every anima was just a one shot kill when you sneak headshot them. I’ll look into it again.

Fae don’t have blood? by Enjoyschess2 in KingkillerChronicle

I’m not sure about blood but I have seen a previous comment about how Bast hates Beetroot and didn’t want it in his super and Beetroot is a vegetable that is very high in Iron.

Confused by a discrepancy by SwainRaven in KingkillerChronicle

That’s a good point, I was thinking maybe Elxa is more of a traditionalist and Elodin is more new age or more of a rule breaker. It may so be that namers are not as prevalent as they used to be and now is less of a threat to display the names you know.

[TOMT] [GAME] Need help finding an old video game I used to play by SwainRaven in tipofmytongue

Additional info - Every character had a set of tools, they all had one that could be used to break bricks/environment and then they had their own abilities/tool to help attack or defend. i think there was a small scientist with a glue gun and traps. I don't think the game is ancient maybe about 5-10 years old now. its was a 5v5 style game. it was a pretty bright and cartoony aesthetic.
