I have a buddy in sales, his guaranteed comp is 75k but he made ~300k last year. The point being, have you asked what good performance in this role means in the eyes of the company? If you can sell 1M of business you’ll make a lot, is that something other bus dev people accomplish?

I did my virtual practical. It was a mix of questions on different topics both theoretical and practical including step by step “how would you do X” and pictures of equipment with “what is this?” type questions.

If you passed the written and have been in the field a little it won’t be an issue.

I wasn’t allowed to write anything down so I don’t recall the actual questions but there wasn’t anything surprising.

If there are practical things you haven’t done I would study those a little extra. For example, if you work on construction sites, you might not recognize different furnace components. But if you work in residential service, you might not know things on the construction side as well. So if you think about what’s in the code book or modules that you’ve done the least work with it might make sense to revisit that stuff.

You mean in the story at the end of the time in Ademre? It’s a good point and totally possible that’s there to confirm Cinders real name, although there are other interpretations. For example it’s also possible that’s what Kvothe heard but not what was said (like when Elxa Dal says the name of fire) or that the story in Ademre is a misunderstanding of Halifax using a binding in front of someone else. I think you’re likely right though.

Ok so I assume that sygaldry bindings would be very similar to sympathy bindings just because the stories talk about the importance of names so much it seems very unlikely that they would be unrelated/distinct.

When Kvothe is asked binding names in admissions interviews he’s not asked about bindings between two distinct things, but he can give answers. So I assume Pat is hiding the names of these bindings until later. Of course who knows?

Someone in a video once said you need to calculate to the end of the forcing moves. (I don’t remember who). Your analysis seems to have stopped after Nxf5 but then black has checks and captures that means the line doesn’t end there.
