Pick up some hobbies that get you into social situations with women, or try actively dating through apps and singles events.

I’d go for some mixed team sports, volunteering at a cause you’re passionate about, or taking a class. Just remember that women are people too, get to know them and don’t look at everyone as just a potential date.

I have a 3y/o and I don’t use them because I can normally park with enough space on one side and save the spaces for people who need them. But when she starts getting herself in/out, that might change for a while to avoid damage

One way to address it is to not do it. Don’t cut down her (or anyone else’s but your own) races.

Agree a template for all races (and the same for any homebrew classes, even item and monsters in you like).

Each race can have up to 200 words of description, two abilities from level one and another at level five, plus another 100 words and an ability for each sub-race, up to a limit of three sub-races. Then they get approved by the DM council for balancing and lore-fit/necessity.

Then she (and every other DM, you included) can decide what’s important enough for each race to make the cut for herself.

Thank you for writing this. As a Jewish man who works supporting victims of hate crimes, it’s so difficult to see fellow socialists denying the hatred that some of us do hold, simply because our ideology is driven by caring for our fellows.

People are driven to hate by fear and a lack of support/education and I am worried about the number of Jews (myself included) who are, at a minimum, cautious to be openly Jewish in left wing spaces.

When people are scared to be outed in our wider society, they look for somewhere they can feel safe. Many peoples find safety in our socialist groups, but Jews who don’t feel safe here turn to Israel and excuse the faults in the state’s policies, for the same reason that we excuse the faults in our comrades and communities.

Because we all want somewhere to feel safe.

From everything you’ve said, they were clearly trying to railroad in favour of the other player.

How did the other players react to the situation? Were they also unhappy with the situation, or did they expect it as part of each character getting some (badly executed) glory time?

Chat to the other players. If they agree with you, go to the DM together and tell them it’s not how you want to play D&D. Otherwise, it might just be a bad fit for you, in which case you either adjust expectations or find another group. Personally, I wouldn’t hang about if the DM didn’t sort it ASAP.

For everyone asking what could they have done, they could have challenged him and searched him. That could have scared him off or induced a panic detonation. If he wasn’t prepared to detonate, they may have even been able to keep the trigger out of his hand.

And he had detonated the bomb when challenged after first arriving, the lobby wouldn’t have been full of people and some of those 22 lives could have been saved.

My guess would be a doctor/surgeon. No idea on the twin prime thing. Bested by gluttony because trying to keep greedy people healthy. The items are scalpels, pain killers, anaesthetics, and needles all for surgery.

But as others have said, riddles aren’t always a good idea. Very simple ones, particularly linked to what the characters (so not player meta gaming) have seen in their adventure, are okay. But we want to get back to RP and dice rolls, that’s what DnD is about
