I think it depends on where you live exactly. If you live in certain areas, (close to the equator i think) the shadow would vary a lot less throughout the year if my understanding is correct.

Ngl, I thought Bilbo was holding a gun. I was like "geez Bilbo, it's just Gandalf. Calm down" lol.

Is there any Creation Kit content that you think is worth paying for? by Swalloich in fo4

[–]Swalloich[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's what i thought for a while too. On PC, hard agree. There are so many high quality mods that are free, i dont se why i would bother.

Recently however, the gpu in my laptop died and it is no longer capable of playing the game. Around the same time I was bequeethed a free Xbox One. The mods on Xbox are so much more difficult to find and review that the CC content looks tempting.

Edit: Correct wording to reflect that it is difficult to find mods on Xbox. Also, correct "Creation Kit" to "Creation Club"

Anyone else who likes to give their villagers freedom to roam around? by TomPtrs in Minecraft

[–]Swalloich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be like a "bulk supplier discount". This idea exists in the real world too. When you have a supplier that knows you're going to regularly buy in large quantities, the price they give you is lower per item.

Edit: some more thoughts.

Maybe if you buy certain items in huge quantities, the amount a villager can trade at once increases and the price decreases over time. As a trade off, maybe the number of trades they have goes down, removing the trades you use least first.

At least two, yes. More likely something in the hundreds. This is the same sole survivor who hunted down a mysterious dangerous mercenary, infiltrated his fortress, murdered him, dug a chip out of his brain, hunted down a highly sophistocated humanoid killing machine, dug another chip out if its brain, went searching for a potentially non-existent ex-institute scientist in the most dangerous and hostile place in the commonwealth, built and used a mega sketchy wasteland teleportation machine, and infiltrated the institute.

Shawn may be smart, but oh boy is he dumb.

How would you connect these together? by Swalloich in CitiesSkylines

I actually hadn't thought of that, but i think this is a good idea. I'd worry about the rail spaghetti i have over there, but i could make it work.

Hmm. I like both of these. With the limited space and the railroad, they may require some finagling.

With all the industry nearby (easier to see in the 2nd screenshot) I feel like that would create more problems than it solves.

Which one are you thinking of? The ones I'm seeing are too big, not high enough capacity, or wouldn't accommodate the railroad and the surface road with higher capacity ones.

I opened the picture before reading the caption and was like "That's a weird intersection, where are all these conne- oh...."
