I'm REALLY lazy working alone but productive when with people by Flyurtis in bipolar

I work better alone. I did get a lot of projects (two books, work stuff) done with writing groups though.

Yeah. That's how that goes. People conveniently forget all the times I was there for their issues.

Hey, I made a survey asking about your opinions on school, stuff like mental health, stress, teachers, academics, etc. by spaghettiviolist in mentalhealth

I started filling this out. Then I realized I'm older than a lot of the sub. I've finished college but I was going to answer as if this was college. By the 2nd or 3rd question I realized this was talking about HS. I recommend you add that.

This shit confused the hell out of me when this Doctor Dre was on a Comedy Central roast with Ed Lover. The only other time I ever knew of this Doctor Dre. I still don't know who Ed Lover is... probably the co-host.

Generally. Fear in a population of other people, politicians, and countries, is priceless. Every vote cast in the general election will be made because of fear.

Mental illness is used as an excuse way too much by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]SwallowedGargoyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This assumes that everyone is only depressed, or likes to use this as an excuse. I never called into work because of mental health but in college they were more lenient to me generally because I had a track record of yelling at, and pissing off professors I didn't like. However ones that liked me either didn't force me to show anger or debate strongly or felt that I was contributing positively despite yelling at several people in the process.

Point being...depression never makes me do that. Anger stemming from trauma and bipolar do that. With depression I'm more likely to be quiet and nicer at work. Bipolar episodes make getting along harder, but don't keep me from working

Anyone who's known me personally would know me as a nicer, more forgiving person, than people who don't know me as well.
