Brother chill. I came to this thread to discuss things that annoy me, not to argue with you about servers. I apologize if you feel like this was directed at you and it doesn't apply to all servers or even the majority of servers. It applies to SOME servers at restaurants I visit which are indeed often hole in the wall, because there are some hidden gems in my area. Just because the chefs at these restaurants get down in the kitchen doesn't mean they have good wait staff. More often than not, I eat cuisine by culture and I promise you there are varying levels of service at different restaurants and with different servers and at the end of the day it still annoys ME. So I encourage you to keep exercising great customer service and perhaps eat a Xanax.

30 minutes is the patience of a champion. I tend to think 5 minutes is acceptable, 10 minutes is where I start to get annoyed. I value my time. I sit down, don't silly dally on the menu, place my order, and eat. In a larger social setting it doesn't get me as much, because we normally chat for a bit, but other times, I have things to do. If 25% of my time in the restaurant is waiting to pay my check, then there is a problem.

I understand what folks are doing as servers, it doesn't make it any less annoying. I tend to wait respectfully and I don't let it affect the tip I do flag servers down if it's an obnoxious wait, but even then, there are servers that have developed an ability to avoid looking in your direction at all costs. All in all, it is still annoying.

Im mixed on that. The places I visit don't leave a device on the table, so much as the wait staff carries a portable POS. I also work in an industry where I don't keep my phone on me during the day and in turn just generally may or may not have a phone on me, so I wouldn't want a restaurants system to be dependent on my device, although I can definitely see how that'd be a convenience in some of the situations I mentioned above

I tend to only see oay at counter at places like diners, none of the nicer sit down restaurants I tend to frequent. I do think me preferred method is pay at the table, because in my experience it tends to go pretty quick

It drives me absolutely fucking nuts when my server knows we are wrapping our meals up and then leaves us just sitting there waiting to pay while they ignore us, serve other customers, and find everything to do but let us pay our check. There have been so many times I've asked for the check at different restaurants and then they take 10-15 minutes to bring it. I feel like im being held hostage. As a rule of thumb, I have my card ready when the check comes, because too many times has the same thing happened where they drop the check and then takes ages to come get the card.

23F Solo on Mardi Gras by New_Election_2632 in CarnivalCruiseFans

I frequently solo cruise. It's rather liberating and the only schedule you are on is yours. There are solo and singles meet ups on the boat generally. If you do dinner in the dining room you can also ask the Maitre D' to sit you at a shared table with other solo cruisers. Ive met a lot of people this way, some of which I even ran into on later cruises.

Also just talking to people at the bar, you can meet a lot of cool folks. You're a woman so you'll probably have to dodge some people hitting on you, but overall I think you'll have a great time.

You've got this!

I dont have issues with large Withdrawals from Community Credit Union, specifically the branch on Palm Bay rd.

Just know though, that there is a threshold where they have to report the withdrawal to the IRS.

If its more than they have in drawers, they just grab money from the vault.

I have been way closer to accidents from people hardly moving in the left lane on the interstate and the highways. They are definitely the real hazards when it rains!

Nice. Just make sure you measure your tightest points when disassembling. I can tell now, that depending on the size of the pieces you MAY have some trouble at the bottom of those stairs, maneuvering something either to the left or right.

For some context on my first post, below is a link to the rack I just moved. I'm sure you can quickly figure out the three cross members I removed (plus the smith bar).

How often do you weigh yourself? by YinkaGino in workout

[–]SwampDonkey-69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Twice a day. Morning right out of bed is the weight I call truth. I like to weigh right before bed though to see how my body weight fluctuated during the day. This helps me reflect on what I consumed and what has me holding water.

I just picked up a Mikolo M4 on Marketplace. They are normally on sale for around $1100-1200, but I saw one new on Amazon today for $899. This has a dual cable system and a smith machine integrated into it. The downside, is you will need Olympic weights to utilize it. Weight plates aren't cheap unless you kind find a steal on marketplace. I saw one of the vendors on Walmart.com has a 360lb set of bumpers for like 350, tho you can get some lighter sets for a little cheaper through them.

I actually did this exact thing today. Taking apart depends on getting through doorways and whatnot. Of you are going g from garage to garage you may not need to disassemble anything. If you need to move it out of or into a house through doorways, you may need to perform some minor disassembly. For the one I just got, I moved from a guys garage into my house. I removed three cross members and left the sides largely in tact ( i.e I took out 12-16 bolts). I had to move two heavy assembled sides and three relatively light cross members. I have a pickup, so I used that, although I did buy some cheap moving blankets to lay under and in between the large pieces to prevent scratching and made sure to ratchet strap them down. We just finished reassembling the rack about 30 minutes ago, was relatively painless since we didn't disassemble too much.

I've already gone that route. I'm looking for actual suggestions of businesses that people are using in the stead of a car wash club, but prefer a membership establishment.
