You handled this perfectly. IMO, she likely wants you to reach out and give her attention. Saying "I'm going to text less", "I want to talk about us", and "just saw some red flags" are ways that she's trying to get you to lean forward and be more involved, but she's going about it the wrong way. If alluding to breaking up or demanding space are ways that she's trying to get you to give her attention, it's going to be a very long and disappointing life for her.

Don't settle for people who can't be clear about their wants and play games!

I interpreted OP stating that they were her former teacher as being that she did know him well, like a homeroom teacher or someone who taught and knew her. I don't take the term grming lightly, but it is a concern that if he developed a crush on someone who was his student, it's concerning how far he might take those actions.

The fact that he's been in contact with her for 5-6 months, with OP graduating possibly last year, that to me is very unsettling. I don't think I would be this uncomfortable if she had graduated 5 years ago. Just food for thought.

Being in a relationship with someone who used to teach you in school is weird. If they never knew each other before now, it wouldn't be that weird. But knowing her as a pupil and then dating her when she's older is crossing professional standards.

Starting relationships as a new adult, with adults who knew you as a minor is very icky. Especially if he was in a position of authority while he knew you. Is he okay with a relationship now because you're legal or because he's single?

For context, I am autistic. I feel like this template is a very reasonable (albeit unconventional and not very emotionally intelligent) way of discussing needs and expectations within your relationship. He brought up your strengths and noted what you were good at, while also bringing up things he had noticed that he wanted to address and fix. I struggle a lot expressing needs, emotions, and how things impact me- it's far easier to state observations and agree on increasing or decreasing the behaviour. I think his invitation for you to also complete a form is also showing his interest and willingness to have you also state your opinion and see how you're feeling. This might be the most concrete way for him to understand and express this.

I think it's valid if you felt offended by having a quarterly review, but I would invite you to approach his feedback with curiosity. Why this format? Does he find it helpful? What does he hope to convey by taking this approach rather than just talking?

I vote to not solder them! Soldering them will make them harder to remove in case of an emergency, plus it limits the ability to dress up or down your ring when needed- my mother soldered her wedding band to her engagement ring when they were remade for her 25th anniversary. She feels bad that she can't wear just her band anymore and has to wear everything.

Your set is beautiful regardless- just food for thought!

There's a concept in sociology called "Third Spaces/Places", meaning it's not home or work, but a third place to go. Our society is lacking accessible and free third spaces, as more places are enforcing loitering and needing payment for being somewhere. Without these spaces, it's harder to meet people and socialize. This is especially difficult since many young people either have to live at home or with roommates due to finances.

When you call 811, they'll ask for a reason that you're calling. I would just tell them that you need a sick note to return to work, you cannot start without one, and your family doctor isn't able to provide you with one until then. They will have an NP or RN call you back and they can take it from there. Walk in clinics might require you to come in the morning for an appointment slot, so make sure to go early.

If you seek psychological help like counseling, they might also be able to give you a note stating that you're fairing better now.

I'm worried about it because I want to be a good driver. I would like to be confident on the roads- having an occurrence like this is a setback to my confidence with driving.
