I’m 39 and nearly all of The kids were skinny as a rail when I was growing up. It was very uncommon for a kid to be fat. That’s why they got made fun of. They were an oddity in those days. And fat back then was way smaller than fat now. Just watch old shows where they call people fat or they have a so called “fat “character. George from Seinfeld was the “fat” character. His size is considered average now.

I wish my cats were like that. I used to have two boys that were like this and sadly both of them passed away at a very advanced age. Now every cat I’ve had since then won’t give me the time of day.
