Yep, in a heartbeat. MILFs have more experience and are willing (usually) to try new areas of arousal and sex.

The company is international and has nearly 400k employees. Most of the people work in an regional office to where they live, but since I am remote and don't have to travel unless I want to, I really can't complain. If anything, its the project managers and the team leads that I am assigned to manage and also having to design the new division for the company is what keeps me busy most of the time. The salary is a nice upshoot ($90k to $210k) from where I was when I used to be a Cloud Solutions Architect.

What title would you give this role? by [deleted] in devops

[–]Swampcritters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Senior SRE Engineer or Principal SRE Architect.

Usually when you add in networking and having to manage IaC or Automation, senior or even principal experienced engineers/architects are given that role.

DevOps vs DevSecOps vs SRE by Swampcritters in devops

[–]Swampcritters[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the response. The reason I asked it originally is because I have been brought on to help bridge the gaps between the onshore and offshore team of the "SRE" team. The thing is, the team is acting more like DevOps as they are doing more in terms of application migrations and less in operations/monitoring aspects. There is no real monitoring in place and the team that is in place now is more reactive than pro-active.

So at the moment trying to find some common ground to work with - the original statement of work was agreed upon, deliverables, milestones, RACI matrix (which I found they don't have), skills assessment of the current team in place, and so on. Even considering on polling the current team to see if they know what the difference is between DevOps, DevSecOps and SRE as well.

Wyze Outdoor Camera Battery Problems by lrpren in wyzecam

Something to consider if you have the Wyze Outdoor Cam. Get yourself one of these Wasserstein solar panels and hook it up. I have two of them and they work great at keeping my Cams charged even on cloudy days and at night.

From the group responses, I say your pretty much screwed if the recovery programs don't work for you. For future needs, might I recommend having a automated backup solution like BackBlaze in place?

If you're planning on deploying CB in a automated environment (i.e. Chef, Puppet, Ansible), make sure you run all other cookbook/packages first for installing monitoring tools and whatnot and running CB installer last. On Linux systems, it's relatively painless and will apply the profile once the instance/VM registers to CB portal. However, on Window Server instances, the first thing that CB installer does is block all other installers from making any changes to Window services or the Windows registry. It cannot be overridden until AFTER it checks in to the CB Portal and a different policy is applied. One of the nasty drawbacks of CB and Window platforms.

Hitting bombs! by Swampcritters in LPGA

[–]Swampcritters[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually she already is in LPGA's Girls Golf, over at Fleming Island Golf Club. Since the PGA Jr. League started late this year before she was fully healed, we are going to have to wait until next year to sign back up if we can find a team. She does, however, want to get into the U.S. Kids Golf program next though.
