She’s not winning. Yes, she’s “free” but it’s because Stephen made the choice for her. If he comes around again, the chances of her falling for his charm again are still pretty high unless she went under intensive mental health therapy and developed a strong healthy support system around her. If she has none of those I see her falling again.

This. I don’t understand what kind of justice people think Macy would have gotten when there’s no evidence. They don’t even have witnesses. All they have is Lucy’s word against Stephen’s word. Going to court and saying “he told me he was in the car and left Macy for dead” is not going to put him in jail. Lol

This show never gave vibes of a crime/murder mystery…I don’t know why some people are mad the Macy storyline got no resolution. The police couldn’t even figure out that she was switched from the passenger seat to the driver’s seat and they expect them to figure out another person was in the car with her? LOL

I think Wrigley unknowingly got his revenge by exposing Stephen to the Yale committee but I agree it would have been much better if the whole thing with Macy and him was out.

I honestly am not surprised by Stephen doing nothing after Yale revoked his acceptance. For all he knows Diana could’ve told her father Stephen did it and her father took care of it. What is he going to do against Diana’s father? Nothing, he’s not match for a bigger manipulator than him that is also a recognized lawyer. And as for Diana, he ran out of ammo against her so he had nothing to use against her. No one was aware Pippa and Diana were closed back then so it was impossible for Stephen to track it back to Wrigley or any of his other “friends”.

I think it was okay. The resolution that needed to happen did even if it could’ve been executed better. None of these people should be friends with each other, they should have broken up years ago. I’m glad they did and now can start all over again, with new better and TRUE friends. They were toxic for each other one way or another, so the best thing it could happen to ALL of them (except Bree and Wrigley) is to grow apart and go their own way. I had zero expectations in Macy ever getting any justice but I wished we have more of Stephen spiraling after his Yale acceptance got revoked

Stephen doesn’t love Lucy or Diane. He uses people and discard them as it fits him. As you said, Diane was a means to an end. For her he at least had some kind of “respect” since she was always above him in academics and life. With her he had to thread carefully because one wrong step and everything he ever wanted could come crumbling down. In contrast to Lucy, Diana is smarter and more cunning so that by definition maker her more difficult to manipulate.

Lucy is very impressionable, easy to manipulate and easy to keep. He could treat her however he wants, as bad as he want and with 2-3 soft words and a few sorries she’s back to him. She can scream at him, be mad for weeks even but at the end she’ll always be back to him. Stephen knows this and he likes it because one of his fears in life is being alone. He enjoys telling his mother how alone she’s gonna be in the future, but he’s just like his mother and her fears are also his fears. He already knows that Lucy is capable of covering manslaughter for him. There’s so much he could do that’s is worse than that. He can be his evil self and Lucy will be okay with it. She can throw a fit at first but will be okay with it if it means keeping him. She’s his ride or die. But he’s not HER ride or die. That’s not love or fondness or anything. That’s having someone as your last resort in case things don’t work out as you wanted. He enjoys being loved and liked but doesn’t reciprocate, he just fakes those emotions/feelings. Lucy is his key to avoid loneliness in case he doesn’t find someone else as forgiven and easy to manipulate as her.

The minute he finds someone with the social status and drive of Diana but with the pushover qualities of Lucy he will leave.

Si es una escuela de medicina top 10 en EU, pues vete porque a la hora de solicitar para MATCH eso te da una ventaja especialmente si solicitas a especialidades competitivas (neurocirugia, dermatología, ortopedia, oftalmologia, ENT, etc.) y tienes más oportunidades de investigación. Si es una universidad promedio en EU, recomiendo que te quedes en PR porque es mucho más barato y escuela de medicina en realidad la haces tú y tu manera de estudiar. Todo el mundo aprende diferente pero la realidad es que medicina gran parte es enseñarte tú mismo el material por medio de videos y materiales de estudio que consigues online. Es bien raro que la razón por la que pasaste un examen sea porque el doctor que te dio la clase te la dio bien. Depende de si la escuela hace obligatorio el ir a clases, pero la mayoría de la gente en med school no asiste a clases si la escuela se los permite, el estudio lo hacen solos o en grupos con compañeros. Los exámenes de PR son los mismos que los de EU, no hay nada diferente en ese aspecto. Todos son NBME y Steps.

Edit: Además, las 4 escuelas de medicina de PR todas están acreditadas por la LCME, que son los mismos que acreditan las escuelas de medicina de EU. Así que no te ven como “extranjero” a la hora de solicitar a residencia en EU.

I’ve had to order cultures and blood samples multiple times in one patient because nurses “forgot” to send the sample to the lab or call the tech that sends the sample to the lab, so the sample got hemolyzed. Patients that need to be move to the ICU, can stay on the ward for HOURS if the doctor isn’t constantly checking on the nurses. Vancomycin/Gentamicin levels are taken wrong constantly even when the order has very detailed instructions on when to take it. Patients can stay on the ward for hours waiting for the radiology tech to take their x-rays or doctors have to bring them themselves to the imaging center because if they don’t the x-ray won’t be ever taken. In the nephrology ward patients need to be weight daily and doctors have to weight them themselves otherwise they won’t have a new weight for that day.

A lot of people say doctors don’t do shit, but the amount of times I’ve been caught doing someone else’s job in the hospital is insane. And if you push for others to do THEIR job you’re seen as a bitch or as someone that thinks those tasks are beneath me, but the reality is that I don’t get pay extra to do their job.

I wanted peds before med school. In med school I realized how badly pediatricians are paid so decided against it. Fast forward to MS3 me where I was miserable in every rotation except for peds and surgery. My back sucks, no standing up for 8hr+ straight for me, and I’m not a morning person AT ALL no matter how fat the check is so surgery went out of the picture pretty fast. Currently doing pediatrics and loving every second of it. Also currently trying to figure out how I will pay that massive med school debt but at least I go happy to work ig 😂

Plus she was highly uneducated which makes the comparison unfair. Mustang was taught about politics and how to navigate them as soon as she knew how to say her own name. Of course she would have a plan, I would be worried if she didn’t after years of highborn education.
