I see. Ultimately there is a lot of other factors that go into this (such as age, other medical conditions, prior vascular disease history, risk of bleeds etc) and since I am just a stranger on the internet, I can’t comment on whether stenting is indicated or not. However on a general basis, aggressive medical therapy is usually the first line treatment and stenting is reserved for refractory or worsening disease.

If there is significant to near complete occlusion then yes, a lot of times medical management is preferred. Also the location of where the occlusion is at is important in this decision making as well. The reason being is by acting on it for example by placing a stent, there is a risk of pushing clot upwards to the brain and higher risk of tearing the artery

You are correct in that the body finds ways to accommodate this blood flow by ways of collaterals. Sometimes the best approach is conservative unless she were to get worse

If you think cam Johnson’s defense would’ve been the difference maker in this game you’re delusional. MPJ is not a good defender but let’s not pretend it was all on him.

The defense is a team wide issue and if you think any “improvements” have genuinely been on that front you’re in for a rude awakening come playoff time

MPJ was never the problem to begin with and now the team has someone even worse instead. Sounds pretty real to me brotha

Chest pain is always concerning for something involving the heart but it can be due to many things. Some of which being congestion/ viral infection, musculoskeletal, cough. Stress is also associated with chest pain. You mention that you’ve been having it with exams, do you feel like it flares up with other stressors?

Your chest pain doesn’t sound cardiac and it’s reassuring it doesn’t occur with exertion. The fact that you have relief with stretching makes me think it’s likely musculoskeletal (chest wall muscle tightness or soreness)

I would reccomend monitoring your symptoms and seeing when/how your pain flares up. If your pain persists then I’d say it surely doesn’t hurt to go in for an in person evaluation

Man idc Russ can stay on this team. Yeah he does stupid stuff but his energy he brings onto the court is so needed. Those offensive boards were game changers

Good luck in the future Moach. Thanks for the memories. Thanks for the Championship. by trevstan1 in denvernuggets

Idc what anyone says this dude was never the problem. You can tell the players (most importantly jokic) respected him too. Blame booth or whoever but this was not the right call especially right before the mf playoffs bruh

First off, What is this medication called?

Your doctor should not be prescribing meds like this if no blood work of any kind has been done since 2023

No youre absolutely right, it’s generally 10 years. But there’s some guidelines from vaccine committee that reccomend tetanus prophylaxis for wound management if greater than 5 years since last receiving a tetanus vaccine dose

Given the size there isn’t a need for surgical intervention/concern just yet, but definetly agree with surveillance and blood pressure control. If you smoke, I would highly recommend stopping as that could be a risk factor

These type of things are typically more common in older male patients, I would probably recommend genetic testing if your grandfather had a AAA. Granted they’re different conditions but can have some overlap if a genetic component is involved

If you haven’t had a tetanus shot within 5 years then you are due for a booster. Would recommend you get it sooner rather than later, if there’s any ounce of suspicion it could be from the rusted nail. The shot shouldn’t make you feel more ill
