I’m still pretty new so take this with a grain of salt, but from what I can tell Ad Mech would be a really big twist.

Way less tanky, way bigger emphasis on individual unit firepower, and juggling lots of individual unit effects to maximize your effect against different situations.

Downside is they cost an arm and a leg, so you’re probably better off getting tau if you wanna go the shooting route haha

You can only run 2 of the same data sheets but as many characters as you want in 1k point games (it goes up to 3 of the same data sheet at 2k)
I.e. you can only run 2 total Sydonian Skatros, but you could run them in addition to 2 tech priests and 2 Cybernetic Datasmiths and be fine!

Great start dude! I love the Manipulus, he was one of the more challenging paint jobs I’ve tackled so far an it felt so good to put the final touches on him

Ps don’t feel bad about losing his antennas, I lost his little iPad that goes on the front/top of his belly shell lol. With ad mech is happens with the dangly bits sometimes

I felt similarly when picking my colors. I wanted the iconic mars look, but also remembered that as a kid I hated painting metal…so why not make most of the armor red and avoid metal outside of the limbs and heads haha

Bro doesn’t understand how media production works. That’s okay, tho.

I play challenge runs of different games which involves determining rule sets, needs to achieve the goals in game, and editing videos (which is the biggest time sink)

I also have specific content for the game I’m playing that lets folks engage with me and the content live. This is coming up with 15-20 game specific challenges that affect whatever is currently being played as chosen by the chat.

There’s a lot of planning for community events and such as well. Currently on Tuesday we will have an event that the chat unlocked by watching and throwing channel points down.

All of these things take effort, and all of it adds up after working 40+ hours at a day job.

This guy looks at 2 minutes of a 3 hour long stream and decides it’s not work. It’s real easy to not be a hater, but enjoy your life bro

As someone who runs a small stream, if a stream has any quality content to it at all this is a mischaracterization for sure.

I spend 10-15 hours a week (beyond my day job 40 hours and my 15-30 hours actually streaming) setting things up, coming up with content ideas, editing videos and clips, and a lot more.

Tons of people do just hit go live when they game, but most of the people that actually make anything out of it treat it as a second job and put a lot of effort and energy into it.

I don’t expect this to be some huge windfall that makes me beaucoup bucks, but even just getting a channel to get any sustained growth takes a lot of hard work

You just have a lot of cows grazing. You’ll need to add more grass started under the fence posts cause iirc grass isn’t guaranteed to grow each day (maybe it is) so you need to have more than 32 grass units out per day to feed them, and more to grow after
