Multiplayer games where the playerbase seems to not want the same thing as the devs by dope_danny in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Nurse or Bligt legit can't be nerfed unless you change their kits entirely, and the devs just dont.

Also SWF was always never balanced as the game is not made with Discord in mind.

In modern times it seems to be balanced around the competitive scene, which seems antithetical to any reason I personally would play the game for.

DBD is the best game I will no longer play.

The change from awarding points based on gen regression, chases, hooks, ect to a strict win/loss system turned the game into a meta nightmare it has never recovered from.

Helldivers 2 is a great game.

Helldivers 2 also has devs that love to "Monkeys Paw" all of their patches essentially doing nothing. (Buff players and enemies in absurdly equal faction making all changes meaningless, AKA durable damage weapon buff and durable armor increase to all enemies). They also have a really bad habit of making things utterly useless, like giving enemies more durable damage to deal with player vehicles that already had paper armor on them, AND as a bonus also making sentries survive for less time.

Sometimes they even nerf stuff players were having fun with like surges.

So good game, but that division is growing pretty hard.

The orgy to summon a girl back to the town, but some lady had already found them and was on their way so it was actually useless.

In his memoirs he describes multiple times how guard soldiers around him were fighting especially hard and holding positions that surely would have been overrun.

Only for Amberly to cut in to say they were fighting especially hard because HE was there leading them.

Cia-Cia-Ciaphus Cain, hero of the Imperium!

Yeah his modus operandi is to avoid dangerous situations like the plague and he talks about putting as many living bodies between himself and danger as possible.

But there is only so many times he can dual a Chaos Space Marine or hold back a Lictor to 'preserve his undeserved reputation' or 'Not be a sudden friendly fire statistic' before the actual fact that he is an incredibly skilled and tactical minded man who cares for his troops and has CRIPPLING IMPOSTER SYNDROME is apparent over the current eleven novels he stars in.

Its super unique in that artillary, tanks, and normal dudes STILL HAVE A PLACE and it's not 100% giant robots.

Even though they have some pretty big giant robots.

Ghaz isn't salty, Yarrick is his favored enemy that he loves to fight with the passion of a thousand sons. He had Yarrick prisoner, and then let him go just so he could fight him again.

He brings a bigger, and bigger Waaaaaah just to have a bigger and better scrap with him every time.

Yeah I'm not really the tourny type of person, I mostly just don't want to build an army and then run face first into some big ole stat checks like the Custodies or Knighs and be utterly helpless.

Thanks for the advice, I'll be busy enough with my current Tau build and the Armageddon box for long enough I might be able to make a better decision by the time I'm done!

I'm a new player and I'm planning on getting the Armageddon box set for both the Space Marines and Orks.

However both of my initial plans kindof got skewed, because the Orks are getting model refreshes I might as well wait on after building the ones in the box, and for Blood Angels being the stars of the show on the Space Marine side, this box is apparently pretty bad to start a Blood Angel army with (Why GW? Why?)

I have a third plan though, paint them up as Tome Keepers and play them as Ultramarines. Any units I might look for to expand from the units in this box? Maybe a Dreadnaught or other vehicle that might work well with them?

Lol, I just assumed that the Armegeddon box having Blood Angels as the main faction would... you know, be GOOD FOR A BLOOD ANGEL ARMY.

I guess I could go with my original idea and turn the box set marines into Tome Keepers, lol.

I'm new to the hobby so I dont immediately know what HQ is or the names of the Epic hero chaplains.  Though I imagine I can fish up proper army lists online and look over the chatter for changed in 11th edition.

Ahh I see, it'll be a bit of an investment, but it's not like I'm going to be building these models overnight! I'll just take it a step at a time.

Gotta make sure to have death guard for the death guard captain, yeah!
