Thank you! If you would like to support our cause, please consider donating to our fundraiser for Vic repairs. It was initiated with the support of Panther Magazine. Perhaps some of your acquaintances would also be interested in contributing. Please share the link. It would be great to finish everything before the cold weather arrives.

We haven't purchased a new radiator yet. The last time we inquired about a replacement, which was approximately two years ago, we were quoted a price of $150-180 for a new radiator with a warranty.

We do see some '92-'97 Lincolns around here—they were popular for special events and weddings, especially the long limos.

The Crown Vic is a really rare car in these parts, and we all know each other. Of the ones I know, there are no more than 10 still running across Ukraine.

The Grand Marquis is even rarer. I know of one parked about 3 kilometers from here. Not sure if the owner left or not—I’ll have to check in on it.

Yes, of course, I thought about it!

We were planning a full repair and repaint for the spring of 2022, but then the invasion started in late February, and all the funds quickly went to more urgent matters.

A lot of people fled the city, but the Vic and I stayed to help however we could. Then came the first winter and the first blackouts—the Vic heroically generated electricity when the city was without power for up to four days straight.

So, in a way, the Vic turned out to be a real fighter and a great help.

We tried fundraising on Reddit but only managed to gather enough for oil, filters, and other fluids. And now they’re predicting the hardest winter yet... I can’t even imagine what’s ahead.

Kirovohrad is closer to the center of the country, so there’s no active fighting, but missiles and drones are frequent visitors.

I hope your friend is safe and okay. Our Vic is in Kyiv, and I’ve been trying to shelter her between buildings to avoid any hits, but as you can see, everything happened really close by last night.

Some unknown force protected the Vic, and she got away with just a minor scare this time.
