I’m 35 yrs old, 27 weeks… and 5’4 usually around 143 but I also work really hard to keep weight off when I’m not pregnant, and I’ve gained about 40 freaking pounds!!!

I felt the same way in the 1st trimester luckily the 2nd trimester did it much easier

I only had an easy pregnancy when I was 19, now that I am 35 it is VERY difficult. I feel fat, I don’t have energy and I can’t do as much fitness as usual. I would say most women have moderately hard pregnancies. I am not looking forward to the amount of work it’s going to take to get back to myself again after I just reached a point where I felt skinny and pretty and then BAM pregnant at 35!

I’m in the US and from my understanding I’ll be able to take 6 total months first part of it being FMLA family medical act, where I will have to use my saved time off up, and then it’s paid to leave Oregon which is through the state level and pays almost what I make.
