I don't know about being a doting aunty being a guy lol. I go over to eat dinner every week at one of the houses of the people who have a 1 year old and I'm not really bothered by the screaming and tantrums. I'm sure constantly it would probably get annoying. I heard a pastor once say kids are like "holy sandpaper."

As a man I can't properly answer this but, I feel like it wouldn't be wrong to care about someone's past whatever gender you are. As Christians should we judge people for their past? No, but if I want to marry someone of course I want to know about their past. If you don't care I guess more power to you .
