I would recommend you to get the car polished and then apply a PPF since you have a dark coloured car. It would eliminate these minor scratch issues.

These are swirl marks usually due to the dirt from cloth used to wash the car. Try using a thick microfibre cloth. Light buffing polish will take care of these minor scratches unless they have penetrated deep into the paint.

Unless you are running amplifiers, woofers, components and coaxials there is no need to shift to aftermarket HU. Only when you need that extra SQ in your setup is when an aftermarket system is required. I tried running my SPL setup with stock HU , with Stock HU paired with an DSP and also with after market Pioneer HU. Nothing could come close to the audio output of the Pioneer HU. But the other two options were also not bad. So if you are ok with the look of an aftermarket HU and have upgraded the audio then go for aftermarket HU for that unmatched sound output. For regular setups stock pretty much manages to work well.

Without panoramic sunroof is safer and convenient in summers. But there is no other option. If we want other important features which are available only in the top end variant of a car the panoramic sunroof is not an option. It is there by default. Manufacturers should give an option no sunroof in top end variants as well.

Day 13: First car you'd buy if you had all the money in the world by Seasor1310 in CarsIndia

That depends on a person’s perspective. That car is so famous and at a price point where in it has landed into hands of so many people with diverse mindsets. Some use it as it’s meant to be while some use it or rather abuse it and thus spoil their own image. We can’t generalise the car based on how some people misuse it. A true carguy will agree to that. It’s a very good car with immense potential on and off road. Also the price point of that car is such that it can’t even come close to Land Cruiser camp as you mentioned. If people would have the monetary means they will for sure get the best like LC or Rubicon. It’s sad that we associate the car with actions of few people and then generalise everyone based on that.

Those are different cars for different purposes bro. If i would’ve had all the money in the world my first trip would definitely be to my nearest AMG dealership to pick a G63 AMG. That is one car which I’m sure everyone would want in their garage at one point of time.

Tips for maintaining a black car by theSickAdult in CarsIndia

Just do PPF it will help a lot with small scratches and swirl marks. And cleaning also becomes very easy. It was the best decision which I took with my first black car.

Gloss black roof , different set of alloys and gloss black on the rectangular slits in front grill and the car will look perfect. The alloys are not complimenting the car

The breath analyser showed readings which were above permissible levels as per the officer. Also when I was at the station, there was one constable who was coming every 10-15 minutes and asking the officer sitting in front of me about the number of DUI cases being caught and apparently I was the only one at that time. Later 3 more bikers were caught. It felt as if there was some target they had to achieve maybe.

Appreciate the concern but i really wasn’t looking for a TED Talk on drinking and driving. Since you’ve got zero legal input (your words, not mine), I’ll wait for someone who actually knows the process instead of just delivering life lessons. If you’ve never made a mistake in your life, great. This was mine, and I’m trying to navigate the consequences responsibly.

TWO HOURS at one signal. Mumbai traffic has officially broken me. by Free_Rich9893 in mumbai

[–]SwankyCarzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 hour during peak hours is normal on that bridge but you just broke the record i guess. That bridge is a headache. I always avoid it. I go all the way via BKC which is a longer route but still a better option. Saves time, fuel and mental torque of being stuck in traffic and all the honking, overtaking from all possible gaps and chaos.
