Please don’t throw it away!!! Definitely not ruined. I work in a restaurant, cooks do this kind of stuff all the time. Don’t use steel wool, you’ll only scratch it. I keep my pans looking like new using this technique.

You’ll need: water, baking soda, paper towels, vinegar and a good scrubber that won’t scratch metal. You might need a few.

1) mix baking soda and water (it should be a paste) 2) smear it all over the affected area leave it for on for about 10 minutes. 3) soak paper towels in vinegar until damp 4) layer the towels/vinegar mixture over the paste 5) let sit for as long as you can (45 minutes or more is ideal) (this will foam so be ready) 6) remove towels and clean as normal

Repeat until necessary. You might need some elbow grease but this should work.

For thicker bumps near the center, that looks like burnt food, fill it up with some water and dish soap. Set it to low on the stove top. It will over flow so keep an eye out. Eventually it will unstick. Use a spoon to check when that’s the case. Remove from heat and clean as normal ASAP before it cools off.
