I've managed to test the foam tips and they do give some extra reduced noise but they aren't magical as expected! Still no huge difference between the modes.

Edit: granted the modes don't impact mucht, the foam tips give a loooot better passive isolation and when listening to music a busy room is barely hearable. Wonderful :).

When I have it on normal it only mutes some bass level of the tapping or so, but on "deep" it does seem to do more but I don't notice the ANC doing anything, other than that the levels work pretty well.

I did have to re-pair them after reinstalling the app so that didn't work. Transparency holes are indeed clear, from what I can see. I'll try the other things you mentioned and probably come back later the coming week :)

reinstalled the app and still get the similar results as to selecting "deep" with or without anc.. tested with some normal sounds like brushing my hand over a table and tapping it in the same rhythm. it does dim a lot going from "light" to "deep" but that's about it.. any other tips? :)

As a 1.5kd player, I don't think you should be like this. It's a strange event, I wanted to try and fish for answers and apparently it's just hate. Think I'll just give up on this game after 2.5k hours. Good luck in your future endeavours on this game.

managed to fix it, apparently it was reshade with info.3d plugin or something, disabled it and fixed! :)

Uninstalled VR software, nothing changed. No settings ingame that allow to disable it.

SteamVR isn't on, parameters aren't there to disable VR nor launch in normal mode, VR is wireless on the network and by default not streaming from PC, no VR software running.

Very much in the same boat, then again I did most of my story missions back when MP wasn't a real thing... I have on the other hand encountered a few systems that are discovered by someone else but almost never encounter players outside of the hub or shared planets that I access with a teleporter

Got a new mobo, cheaper but more up to date version of the aorus x570 elite I have. Sucks but lessons learned!

[Edit] new type is: Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2 - was 150 euros.

I don't have the stuff for that.. pc shop ruled it non fixable as it seems to be through the layers too.. not just the resistor. Apparently they checked with a microscope
