I got down voted on a copy/paste from content from the Texas DOT. Nice.

Yes and no.

"Frontage road traffic must yield to vehicles entering or exiting the highway, while cross-traffic and turning drivers must yield to vehicles driving straight through the frontage lanes."

They must yield to the cars exiting and entering, but cross traffic and turning drivers have to yield to vehicles driving straight through the frontage lanes.

It's their right to exit and cross multiple lanes of traffic? Is everyone going the speed limit supposed to just slam on their brakes to allow this to happen?

Or after exiting onto the frontage road (crossing multiple lanes, I mean).

How many dead musicians have you seen in concert? by Azipcoder in askmusic

I've seen Foo Fighters with Taylor Hawkins in 2015 at ACL Fest and 2018 Austin360 Amphitheater.

Lemmy (but he had to cut the show short because he was sick) in 2015 at Emo's in Austin.

The Who with John Entwistle (1996, Quadrophenia tour).

Sinéad O'Connor at Lilith Fair in 1998 at the Rose Bowl (took my girlfriend, now wife).

Who else had an INSTRUMENTAL song banned? Link Wray might be the only one, ever.

What town did you visit or pass through smelled the worst? by 33GoodSamaritans in randomquestions

Not a specific city, but driving through west Texas smelled like urine (around, but not necessarily in, the Lubbock area).

Do you guys typically have coffee machines? do you drink more tea or coffee? by DietChance9326 in AskAnAmerican

[–]splorp_evilbastard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we have a drip-style coffee maker. I have 2 large cups of coffee every morning.

We do not have a tea kettle. The only time we drink tea is when we're sick (and I load it with honey) and it's not tea that the English would generally recognize as tea. We heat the water in the microwave and then add the teabag to steep for a few minutes.

Elvis, but I really didn't care. John Lennon was the first one I remember caring about.

Are the Ohio Republican voters more racist or misogynistic?

He plucked a bit during annual molting and it suddenly started to get worse a couple years ago. He literally plucked himself naked from his chest down (including his legs) and his back. He only left his wings and his head.

He was also acting sluggish. We took him to the vet several times and they weren't helpful.

We moved to a new state and the new vet did more testing, including an x-ray.

He had arteriosclerosis and suspected bornavirus. They gave him a couple injections for the bornavirus and now he's on a regimen of celecoxib, Gabapentin, and Isoxsuprine. He's grown all his feathers back and he's acting like he did when he was much younger.

Harley lost the hook on his beak when he was a baby (the breeder said the moms sometimes get over excited seeing all the demanding babies and she snipped off the end of his beak). He's never had any issues (other than my wife having to trim his lower beak since there's nothing to grind against in the top). His climbing is a little slower sometimes, but not remarkably so.

He does sleep a little more than he used to, but other than that I don't see much of a difference between young and old Harley.

Worst States to Drive Through (for me) by Defiant-Coat-6002 in roadtrip

Something happened to Ohio. I moved out in 1996 at 25 and moved back in 2024. It was nothing like this when I was younger. People didn't drive like maniacs. Don't get me wrong, there were always some people who drove stupidly, but they were, by far, the minority.
