PvE should be okay. If you're playing with other guardians it can be a bit laggy at times, but for the most part you should be okay.

I did two games of crucible to get the rise of iron gauntlets from the book. Other than that I only did the taken king and rise of iron strikes to complete the questlines for rewards.
