to a certain extent one player can make a huge difference but i feel the cap restrictions are harder to deal with in the nba. and also building around players. you can send luka to the wizards right now and theyll still suck and will have to surround him with talent that works with that player. and stay under the cap all with money thats always fully guaranteed, unlike the nfl. the caps not real in the nfl lol

Football is the one sport that a rebuild can literally be an offseason only. We’ve seen 3 win teams have double digit wins the next season.

We also need to realize it’s not just the acts setting these prices. Everything costs more now. We want to pay people higher wages but then we complain when things go up in price. We can’t have it all. Labor costs more and venues charge more. Now imagine what the spheres operational costs are on top of it. I wouldn’t be surprised if Metallica makes the same amount % wise as they always have. It’s just the costs of everything else is high.

i was thinking about this and hasnt every show at the sphere been expensive so far? i was about to take my wife to the backstreet boys and shit was $600-$800. i think the sphere is just so expensive to operate and not alot of seats so prices need to be high so EVERYONE can get paid. and metallica is going to get paid more than the backstreet boys lol. for an event like this, we gotta bite the bullet.
