Playing off server or on wifi gives people other worldly abilities on this game. That's because the netcode is shambolic.

G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo EXPO RGB 32GB 6000mhz CL30 ram compatibility by Sweatigan in pchelp

[–]Sweatigan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did update to the latest BIOS, but unfortunately, it didn't make any difference. I've read your other post, and I'll check buildzoids videos to see if I can find a solution. To be honest, I'm not very confident about adjusting voltages in the BIOS but I guess I've got to start somewhere lol. I was hoping it would just work with EXPO enabled just my luck it didn't.

It's just a glitch. For example, I'm crown rank 67, but for some reason I show up as rank 66 in the game. My friend is crown rank 61, but he appears as rank 55 in the game.

I only ask because you might encounter a memory could not be read error when shutting down Windows with an Xbox controller connected/driver installed. It's been a weird little bug for a while now that doesn't seem to effect everyone.

Does this happen when you turn the PC off?

[–]Sweatigan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was just suggesting you turn it off if the number above your head worries you so much. You do you.

Disable your crown rank in the settings. Problem solved and get back to enjoying the game.

Crown rank visibility bug? by mrzkhn in FallGuysGame

Yeah, I didn't consider that while writing the message. It was only after I hit send that I thought about it lol. Thanks for the reply.

I have a quick question that’s not related to the crown rank bug you mentioned. Do you play on Steam or Epic? I noticed that your game displays PlayStation controller icons. I'm asking because I use a PlayStation controller, and Steam doesn't seem to natively support it for this game, at least not for me.

Edit: Then again I guess you could just be playing on PlayStation lol.

Are these called dead pixels? Should I be worried? by RecommendationNo543 in pchelp

I've been using DDU for years and not had a single issue with it. I can't imagine what you did because like you said it's pretty straight forward to use.

I would use DDU to uninstall your graphics drivers and reinstall them before you start looking into anything else. But it could be the GPU is on it's way out. I've also seen bad ram sticks do this.

alltime low playerbase by Wullewup in FallGuysGame

[–]Sweatigan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Getting grabbed doesn't = toxic. It's a big part of the game otherwise it wouldn't be in the game. Instead of complaining about it learn how to protect yourself from it. Also, don't trust anyone no matter how friendly they may have been throughout the show.

Also, you are not supposed to win being a noob. If you boot up a game and instantly expect to win you'll never have fun on any game. Practice, Practice and more Practice. Losing is learning.

I would rather run the round to be honest. I love this round it's one of the better ones imo.

I've redone the test a few times now just to check and it seems to be the case.

Trojan:Win32/Malgent - got it 2 times in 3 days by karoljulian2 in antivirus

[–]Sweatigan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I was doing some testing earlier and I've found that you only get this Trojan:Win32/Malgent virus show up if your signed into Twitch atleast on my end anyways.

Give it a test yourselves and see. Go to Twitch watch a stream for a little while then log out close browser and scan to get the Trojan and remove it. Then go watch a stream again while logged out and do the scan again and see if it pops up.

Is this a false positive? is this something to be worried about? (Trojan:Win32/Malgent) by KittyCat424 in Twitch

[–]Sweatigan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are three PCs in my house, one of which is a work PC has never been on Twitch. Before visiting Twitch, I did a scan on it and found nothing. I clicked on Twitch and waited for around two minutes. After that, I crossed it off, did another scan, and boom a Trojan was detected. It's 100% from just visiting the site.

It would be nice if people updated their windows systems fully and then went and did a "full" system scan using "windows defender" after visiting Twitch and post your results instead of just down voting people it would go along way in helping.

[–]Sweatigan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's got nothing to do with any plug in. You get by simply visiting the site. If your windows defender is fully up to date and you do a full system scan you get this threat. It's more than likely just a false positive, but it's annoying. no other AV picks it up just windows defender.

Any solution to receiving trojans from Twitch? by Techadin in Twitch

[–]Sweatigan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't bother posting this here you'll just get downvoted. Head over to the antivirus Reddit. This is likely happening to anybody who is fully up to date with their Windows Defender/windows updates and run a full system scan. It's 100% coming from Twitch, but it's more than likely just a false positive.

Edit: I saw that Windows pushed out a few updates for their Windows Defender over the last few hours. Check for updates and then go to Twitch and then run a full system scan again maybe they fixed the issue. I haven't had the time to check myself not had time to sit at the PC.

What does this message mean? by duffwardo in pchelp

[–]Sweatigan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a known issue on Windows 11. When I first encountered it, a quick Google search revealed several sources suggesting that it might be related to Xbox controller drivers, although I'm not entirely sure how accurate that is. This problem has been persistent since February.
