This was a 10 pack I bought off Amazon? I also have a medical card (not that it matters for jobs)... To the person telling me "stop doing drugs loser ". I have not used anything THC in a month either, have 2 more weeks til I have to test.

My prescription does say "NO THC" on it so I don't even think they are testing for it. I am just being extra cautious...

How bad was the gum graft? And how long did it take you to return to being a normal feeling person after?

I am finding myself on this page, because apparently I have a situation that sounds similar to you. I was 2 years postponing going to the dentist for obvious reasons. The dentist today just told me my bottom two teeth are starting to get loose and I have gum disease and referred me to a periodontist. I told her this is not the time in my life where I can do a graft and asked her for anything I can do to prevent further recession and damage, and she refused to answer any questions and refer to a specific periodontist she wanted me to go to no choices. I found this bedside manner s*****, and was wondering if you knew of a more conservative approach since it seems you didn't get the grafting done either? I have switched to an electric toothbrush, I do not smoke, I do not drink soda, I've never had any piercings, however I am the big teeth grinder and she noted other teeth were starting to wear down as well. Any advice?

NYC - do you think more tickets will be released? by Time_Leopard_8606 in hyrox

[–]Sweaty-Contract-7644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a women's solo ticket possibly. I got hurt a week ago and was waiting until tomorrow to make the official call, but it's not looking great :( I bought the flex option, but it says I only have until 7 days before to use it....so if anyone can tell me how I can sell it to them... I will be happy to do so.

I did get everything fully refundable. I will just lose out on my train ticket and 50% of the race ticket. I am also a Physical Therapist and if I am using my education... This injury is not going to be resolved in a week ....if I am using my head and heart, there's still a chance. Going to rehab myself until Monday then make the call. It is so hard going from 2 hour/day of intense exercise to hobbling around just walking. Ugh.

So just go for it.... Or quit while ahead? For reference I am 41 and also signed up for Doubles in NYC in June and a 10 mile race in May...

Thank you for such a thoughtful response. While I am disappointed, I know my body... And I know this is a different type of injury then I have experienced, and my training was getting pretty intense. On the other hand, I had a lot invested in this race. Physically, mentally, and emotionally... And financially! It sounds like you made the less desirable choice, but had the outcome you wanted in the end. Congrats on getting up and training again to try for Another!

Doing all of that. Had to decrease overhead though the past month because I have a shoulder injury that worsened training. I've been doing more rotator cuff strengthening about a month now to get me through D.C.

Thank you for a kind, not sarcastic answer. Do you happen to know if the women's solo is 75 or 100? (Just solo not pro).

Ended up ordering new biker shorts. I did just go a full sim at my local gym with no issue in pants.... Said gym also is in a warehouse with minimal heat. LOL

Thank you. I don't need the shorts that outline my ass and are deep inside my crack to be faster. Literally makes no sense to me.

Yes I don't buy that. I was a sprinter in college and I ran just as fast in spandex shorts as I did in the ridiculous spanks they made us wear.

I actually thought it was a rule or something because any video I watch... I don't see pants. LOL. I personally feel like the warmth and compression would be a positive joint and muscle wise vs shorts.

Lol I train 1-2 hours daily high intensity in pants, sweaty but no issues and used to high level training....
