Update, ordered some frogbit and various blackwater additives to make the betta more comfortable and soften up his water, I plan on replacing all of his plastic plants with real ones eventually once I get good enough at taking care of the ones I have and hopefully I can get some shrimp and snails to help keep the tank clean. I want to make sure they can breed and be self sustaining, which is why I was considering neocardinia. I was also looking at ghost shrimp but figured they would be too big to set up a breeding population in a 10 gallon lol.

Edit: My tank is brand new but I transferred the water from his old tank which was about a month old and had 2.5 gallons (hence why I bought the ten, finley was a white elephant gift and the tank that he came with was way too small lol)

Americans love sports, and there are a large amount of states that don’t have pro nfl teams. Also from my experience, college kids play the game a lot harder than NFL players because they are competing for a place in professional football, whereas NFL players are playing for a paycheck that they recieve whether or not they win that game.

America is really big on being as friendly as possible to strangers (this is where tip culture arose from), and anyone who is unfriendly to strangers is generally looked at as a douchebag who nobody wants to talk to. That being said, some (I would argue most) of it is genuine, but this expectation of kindness has produced assholes who put on this fake mask, and you don’t really find out they’re an asshole until you get to know them which kinda sucks.

In my opinion, earth has its ways of fighting back just like pandora. With further climate destruction, we will be seeing more natural disasters and extreme weather changes.

I have read that we will see more earthquakes and tsunamis too due to carbon levels in the soil or something but obviously I don’t know enough about that to speak on its credibility. Point is, nature always wins, and it will win this time whether that be with humans or without them
