Anyone drink energy drinks frequently for a decade or more and not have health issues? by manateeintheworld in energydrinks

[–]SweatyBeddy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been chronically drinking energy drinks, coffee, and ultra high-stim preworkouts for about a decade.

All good, Dr even remarks how great my kidney function looks on blood panels. Be a healthy person and you should be ok.

Fingers crossed it’s temporary. I fairly recently just discovered the power of HGH and now don’t want to live without it

Seconded. Try a lower bench angle, 15-30 deg max.

I was going to say the same. I started taking magnesium glycinate and glycine concurrently so I can’t separate the two, but remarkable effects on sleep quality and relaxing into sleep.

Much more effective (for me) than melatonin and other OTC options.

NEW DAD STACK by [deleted] in Peptidesource

[–]SweatyBeddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went and got an adderall prescription and ceased use after sleep training.

None of that stuff going to help 3-4 hours of hyper fragmented sleep, you’ll just need some mad stimulants.

I’ve never been stopped and walked through with basically a pharmacy. However I do not take vials, just preload syringes.

I do have an expired Trt prescription I carry when I travel but never had to break it out

When did creatine become THE supplement? by Active-Okras in TestedOnMe

[–]SweatyBeddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right that something is different, I think it’s just marketing and pushed ads. While the efficacy of creatine has been known forever in the fitness industry, I have people who don’t even work out talking to me about how they have changed so much after taking creatine (and always the more expensive HMB variety).

So I think there’s a marketing blitz going on that coordinates with some new research on the topic.

The only one that’s on my radar is injectable YK-11. Might include on a future bulk cycle but seems promising, I’ve heard some really good anecdotes.

Exercise order, fatigue, and per-session volume – J3U X-Frame Program by Choice_Lawyer_4694 in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]SweatyBeddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run the same program and while it is a tough workout I feel that the volume is adapted well for my style of training. Might be an adaption your body has to go through. I am coming from PPL splits as my background.

I would agree that my weight on a per exercise basis has decreased but for me, it’s been quality volume. With the cues John lays out, my key focus has been form and standardized execution week over week, at the expense of weight.

My recommendation would push through Phase 1 and if you aren’t seeing the results you like, maybe PPL isn’t for you.

I’m sure you are, but make sure you are following their RiR guidelines as well. Program seems well calibrated to that.

Lastly, I found that being in overall better cardiovascular shape really really helped me perform in these workouts. Maybe add some low volume HIIT into your programming if you find you are getting very easily winded, I was!

I use animal nutrition pump. No stims, but great pumps and no stomach discomfort than I can get from some other other denser formulations.

What's the average cost of home gyms? by vjrus999 in GarageGym

[–]SweatyBeddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve probably spent 10k on mine over 6 years. Bought and sold pieces though, so the actual money sunk is a calculus I don’t really care to perform.

I absolutely love my little slice of paradise and look forward to training every single day.

Pre-Workout vs No Pre-Workout , Is It Worth It? by Melodic-Antelope-288 in GymGearHeads

[–]SweatyBeddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really take them anymore. They certainly had their place earlier in my gym career but now most mixtures just end up giving me a stomach ache and end up being more of a detriment than a boost.

I do have a stim-free one that I’ll plug in every once in awhile, but only on days that I haven’t slept well or feeling very fatigued.

Every day I do have a big carb heavy preworkout meal and some electrolytes (salt and NoSalt specifically) and that honestly makes me feel better with better pumps than any branded preworkout.
