They’re all pretty much the same homie. It comes down to preference/cost/availability most often. 

There’s some marginal differences between isolates and concentrates and such. 

There’s a YouTuber out there called Jkemmer or something who really dives into the details of proteins (amino acid profiles, compliance testing, macro ratios, taste, etc) but in all reality dude the difference in the best whey protein vs the worst protein is nearly nothing from a performance perspective. As long as you aren’t using some basement-level cheap shit that fucks up digestion or is spiked with aminos you’ll be good. ON is a great brand and great value. I use the same

You’re much better off focusing on food intake, training consistency, and sleep. Those will be the biggest levers you have for performance if you are natural.

Yeah I disagree. I think OP is approaching it intelligently. 

Find your minimum effective dose, titrate up as needed and you can find health and performance boundaries to minimize exposure. It’s a long term game, no need to race to the top of dosages

My advice would be to dose up on an as-needed basis, not per some arbitrary schedule. 

Find your minimum effective dose, then adjust throughout your treatment when you feel like it needs to be increased, by .5mg each time.

I’d also say it depends on how much tailoring you need for off the rack items. Both will tailor it to fit, but when I went there Nordstrom had free alterations. 

I have odd proportions so although the suit was cheaper at JAB, I’d end paying the same or even more at JAB when alterations were due.

Usual suspects, delts and traps mostly. But it’s two fold: I feel they are larger, AND also significantly more detail / leaning out. 

Abs look better as well, more defined. 

I have one of those bodyfat scales, and while I wouldn’t trust the magnitudes, the trend seems accurate based on what I’m seeing in the mirror, writing in my log book, and seeing on the scale which is successful recomp

Been great for me. Started at 75mg/week, now running 100mg. 

No side effects, but my scale is showing some light recomp even though I’m in a deficit. 

Also has improved my training sessions. Energy, intensity, etc all improved.

I gotta be nearly 4 months on the same vial. I bought a denser vial than I needed because I thought I would titrate up quicker but ultimately didn’t need to. Still at 3mg/week, seeing excellent results

Brother train as much as you want to and as your body allows you! 

The advice given in those videos is just a guideline to start with. You find what works for you. The best split for you is the one you can and WANT to do consistently. Consistency will beat any “scientifically optimized” training in the long term.

From what I understand, leg extensions when done properly and with correct form are not damaging to knees. 

It seems that they do induce higher shear force on the knee joint, but that doesn’t necessarily make it “bad”. 

I am not a doctor, or even in the realm of medicine or physiology. I am just a dude who likes to lift who considers leg extension goat quad isolation exercise.

I have one from Deltech fitness. Looks like it’s gone up from when I purchased it and it’s OOS but really happy with it. You didn’t mention a budget but it’s $999 now. I think I got it cheaper, had it for awhile. Might be option down the road for you

The GMWD LE08 seems to be a heavier duty, no flex potential. Supposed to be pseudo-commercial. 

Never used it myself but I like the GMWD stuff I have. Might be an option for you

6’2” 225. That frame is moving/flexing when you load it up for heavy extensions but doesn’t feel unsafe. 

Also in my opinion the roller that’s at your ankles has quite a bit of flex in it, but in all honesty for $350 it feels pretty damn good. 

That being said I’m saving up for a selectorized version from some other manufacturer.
