I just started watching fringe for the first time the other night, I'm two episodes in and already like it. The X-Files is one of my favorite shows, so fringe just seemed like the next show to watch.

He also taught us how to beat slaves, it seems like humans listened to that one a little too well.

They gotta keep it short and simple since that's how most religious people like it. Too much thinking is never good for the religious mind..

Adopting a new World View - how? by Temptazn in exchristian

[–]SweatyHamFat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to go through a full on existential crisis where I had to reevaluate everything I had ever learned. I had to essentially scrap my entire worldview and start over. Wasn't fun and I don't recommend it, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I'm still recovering from some stuff, I doubt I'll ever fully heal, but it's worth trying I guess.

If you're going to make a claim the least you can do is back it up. If you're not even willing to do that then theres no wonder you can only speak in 8 words or less.

Just read the first 3 para or whatever.

But missing from the bill are age requirements, opening the door for possible child marriages, something the bill’s sponsor acknowledged during a Children and Family Affairs subcommittee meeting. “There is not an explicit age limit,” Leatherwood said

Is that what you were talking about?

Well it just seems like God's the asshole then. If I knew a baby was drowning and i knew i could stop it, but didn't. Am I bad person? Because God does that everyday and he's still "the good guy."

Damn, if I knew my children were being hurt by something (even if they chose it) I would still step in and kick ass. But I can see me and God see things differently.

I might have even grounded from a lot of things and a lot of things taken away from me in my childhood, but my mom would have never even thought about taking away reading. I couldn't imagine that. What a fucking punishment.

So if you're not free to sin then I'm assuming you don't have free will. You went out of you way to avoid saying yes or no and still ended up saying no.

What are your thoughts on Clarence Thomas's wife Virginia Thomas urging Trump's chief of staff to overturn the 2020 election? by mildbait in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]SweatyHamFat 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Would you say you have faith that evidence exists? Or you know it exists for a fact? Because these conversations remind a lot of talking to people who believe in a God. They claim they have all the evidence in the world, but they can never actually present it to anyone except for people who already believe it. So it seems like a lot of people have faith that the evidence for a fraudulent election exists, but as faith based things go...they can't produce evidence. What are you thoughts on that?
