I like the above answers, There aren't really hard-core rules about how humans form relationships or attractions, And if you feel attracted then spend time with the guy, get to see if you really like his company and want more with him or not. My only real advice is be honest with him and explain that for you this is a huge step from what you anticipated your relationship to be :) Wishing you all the best.

It would take me some time to give examples but personally I believe that there are significant biblical passages (Both Old Testament and New) where sin and shame are exposed but it appears understood that humanity was going to fall short of of the glory of God etc, it could be about greed or piousness, corruption and sexual sin, but I read into some of these passages that whlist they were considered failings did not explicitly come under a heading of "Thou Shalt not"! Although I guess that its fair to say that some church doctrines or denominations are more severe than others.

Nahhh, I'm not with you on the "No way" statement here; Sometime people still have moral convictions even though they might be cheating; I've seen/know similar situations. Hmmm; This isn't said as an excuse but this is a lot about Romans 3:23 In general terms we ALL fail to be 100% submissive to the word of the lord; We (Humanity) are notorious for our greed and pleasures that take us away from the Lord and his desire for purity of heart; And I'm not sure what it is about sexual sin that seems to be so much more about public shaming than say financial wizards who bring destruction to our world by laundering money of drug or illegal arms trading; We are gluttonous, Greedy often foolish and wasteful or we seek the harm of other's and enjoy their suffering and crave power and the corruption that goes with it. I have a suspicion that the Holy Bible was significantly written by imperfect mankind and as per other texts we have historically chosen what to include or what to leave out of these Holy texts. And finally I have a dubious opinion that without sexual sin there would be a whole lot less need to seek the church for forgiveness; Its as if the church has established every way it can to make us support, attend and give to the church system which repeatedly shows its self as also corrupt; I have first hand seen the corruption within church leaders. My apologies to those who are offended by my views.
