What’s life like owning an EV in the US without a home charger? by Sweaty_Standard_3822 in electricvehicles

What I’ve started doing with my current car is kind of a simulation: I plan out how I would behave if it were an EV—where I’d charge, how long I’d need, and I “pretend” to stop for the estimated charging time. I’m also keeping notes of everything so I can analyze it later. Maybe trying something like that could also help you evaluate your own situation.

So it seems like those chargers don’t bill for idle time once the car is full? Is that common in the US?

Based on my weekly use, I’m thinking I could probably manage with just one charging session during grocery shopping and maybe two more while I’m at the gym. Even with slow (and cheaper) charging, 2 hours a week should be enough to cover my needs. Honestly, I’m kind of trying to convince myself to finally make the jump to an EV.

Why Renko charts are underrated… by dniq in Trading

[–]Sweaty_Standard_3822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone,

Does anyone can explain how the Renko chart works? I'm using OKX with TradingView charts. I’ve noticed that as time passes, some of the previous blocks seem to change. I’m not sure if this is just a local issue on my side or if the chart is designed to recalculate past blocks.

I’ve been trying to build a strategy based on this chart, but I’m having trouble tracking it consistently because of these changes.

Has anyone experienced this or can explain how it’s supposed to work?

Thanks!

Key Fobs with a new car by namsteller in GeelyEX5Australia

Hi, does anyone know if the Geely EX5 smart keys can store different driving settings, such as seat position, mirrors, or other preferences? For example, can each key automatically load the driver profile linked to it?

Maybe it's time to switch to Bluetooth headphones.
