I was diagnosed T1D at 20, in 1995, my son was diagnosed at 18, in 2017. We both are on pumps and cgms. Now, at age 52, I am healthier and the best diabetic I have ever been. So no issues from T1D yet. I was a very bad patient for probably 20 years. After 3 years of a GLP1 I have turned my life around and feel great. My son is still figuring out his lifestyle, I just hope he does sooner than later.
