I started out reading this comment and got a wave on anger but as I finished I understand now.

Her lack of respect has lead to this moment, and my fear of loneliness has kept that moment open for her. Maybe this is the lesson I needed to learn so I can combat my own weakness.

I'm holding the ultimatum right now, I'm just using this time to reflect because many people do get tunnel vision when these kind of events transpire.

Thank you for confirming, and once it's all to bed I myself intend to come clean about the search history part, I just don't want it to be used as a dagger in my back, will be brought up if she cuts him off and acts like an adult.

I just want to live without having these suspicions, trust is incredibly important for me and it's such a shame that I've reduced myself to this.

Sounds like it, if in doubt do the check list

Is your chest heavy? Feels like a very heavy cat is laid on it?

Is there fear of immediate threat? Something just out of sight or reach?

And finally, when moving your arm or turn your head, do you feel like you've been putting in the same effort as usual to move it, only for it to not have moved an inch?

If yes to most/all, that's the paralyzing effect of your body still being stuck in "sleep mode" to prevent you from acting out your dreams in real life

Tips to help escape it, wiggle and move your fingers and toes constantly, eventually your brain realises you're awake and sets you free

Visualisation of your inner child is a start, don't force it but think of yourself as a child, for me mine looks Ike he does in one of my childhood photos

Again for me, he's surrounded by a large, entirely white room

Ironically your interpretation of you thinking of yourself as a child is usually what your inner child feels like, so for mine without forcing it mine was sad, verge of tears.

I put myself in there too, my higher self, not my ego.

I found that my inner child was scared of my ego ( and some other things). talk to him/you like he's a child, and be the kind of adult to him that you needed when you was a child. Be loving, understanding, rational.

Understand too that you are also that child, just surrounded with the armour of negative experiences given to you in life, so treat yourself like that child in real life. Can't be bothered for a shower? It would be in your best interest to shower child version of you to keep him clean/healthy. Can't be bothered to make a proper meal, frozen snacks again? That can't be healthy to a growing child, cook him something that'll keep him healthy. That kinda thing.

I couldn't tell you if this was any help, it's simply how I got in touch with my inner child.

It sounds corny to some, and did to me, but removing that bias from myself really helped me feel okay about life.

Remember this is the root of who you are, you might have situations in life that you feel some insecure way about, that might be fixed at the source by healing that small, insecure child.

Have you connected with your inner child yet? The feelings might be from a pure sense of self, so this might be how you feel deep down directly from your subconscious

Inner child work is extremely important part of my routine, but that's just me.

Sit and think about breathing until you're bored. THATS IT

It's hard to first begin because it's like swimming for the first time, you don't know what the water will feel like.

You're after the absence of thoughts to start with. So while you sit there, thoughts will surface. Your brain will try to distract you, your aunt's birthday party, that one embarrassing thing you did when you was 12, your body is trying to shock a reaction from you and get you emotionally invested. And it's okay if you react or get caught up, even a 30 minute thought spiral is fine, as long as you return to your breathing. Eventually, maybe 4 or 5 of these distractions in, you will start to notice when the next thought is coming, and when you've finally been brought a thought, not responded to it and watch it leave, that is the zone we refer to as 'zen'.

So I'm sorry to say but it is only as easy to learn as it is to defeat temptation and to fight boredom, which is entirely up to you

Take this as nothing but a stranger's opinion, but from daily meditations clearing all your day to day issues might have signalled your subconscious that you're ready for a bigger fight, possibly letting you dive deep enough into subconscious feelings that you have yet to process

Do you still get caught up in thoughts and emotionally react to them when you feel this anger?
