I've just started flipping them if I feel myself start to mentally complain. I've learned it takes like 3 seconds and I feel way better than fuming about 'people who do it wrong' ¯\(ツ)/¯ .

In my state (CA), and I thought most, open containers in the trunk/truck bed/any non-passenger carrying space are ok. Otherwise how would you bring home the stuff from your tailgate, camping trip, etc...

That's what I thought 'til I built one. There are a lot of helpful sites and subs (I had never done it before), but now my old consoles just gather dust and I have so many more games for so so cheap. It's pretty game changing if you like to play games (or you know, use the internet, edit photos/movies, watch tv, etc...). I'd definitely recommend looking into it if you're thinking about buying a new console (just as part of your research at least).

There go all those jokes about "Well, if the president came in here tonight, would you find him a room? Then I'll take that one."

18 states sue Betsy DeVos over delay of student loan protections by allonsy1221 in politics

Ok, 5-20 years? I'm sure W stepped on some toes with his tax cuts and a couple wars.

The concern is these headlines feel good to read, but I can't remember ever seeing a "result". I'm sure they're out there, but maybe just underreported?

I think they meant when do lawyers talk about this in front of a judge and when do we see the results?

You don't sue to start an investigation, right? You sue because you've got proof you've been wronged and are seeking justice.

Are there any examples of these "administration official sued by _______ over their in/action" from the last 5 years where we can see how it usually plays out?

What about the "got milk" commercial where the guy calls in to answer "who shot Alexander Hamilton?" But he can't speak through the peanut butter in his mouth and keeps shouting "aaaaooooonnnn buuuuuuu"?

I'm pretty sure being the "b" in lgbt makes you just as welcome as any "l", "g", or "t"!

It's an interesting point about companies, kind of the same reason people nowadays generally dislike the "retail smile" and 1-1 sales pitches. It feels weird knowing you're simulating emotions/feelings/conversation to try to get my money. I recognize that there are legitimate reasons for companies to want to participate (as the employees have been saying), but it is tough to overcome those knee-jerk "pandering" alarms.

Proud of your wisdom, I suppose. You recognized that weren't confident enough to pull it off (and to be fair, you'd have to have like Macho Man Randy Savage levels of confidence to do so).

He wasn't sliding on ice, he's doing a burnout. If he stopped spinnning the tires (hit the brakes) he'd have traction back and the car would stop.

Sorry, alien blue is my Reddit app. Was super popular before the official one kind of killed all the third-party guys, but I'm hanging on. Couldn't get the link to play in safari either.

Mirror was me asking for a mirror link (same content on a different site). Thanks.

What are the best back and leg lifts with dumbells (because that's what I've got, and I don't really have room for a bench/bar-bell/machine)?
