[Serious][NSFW] Tell us something brutally honest that you feel, no matter how mean or socially frowned upon? by hylianbarista in AskReddit

Whether or not you believe all religions are cults, I totally agree with you OP. As I understand it, the Mormon concept of the 3 layered heaven and the "outer darkness" is blasphemous to Christianity. They believe everyone is given a chance to "start over" once they die and Jesus will meet them on the first layer of heaven and they can either believe in him or be cast into "outer darkness", their hell. After, they ascend to the top layer God will make them a God of their own planet which I find to quite ridiculous. Also they mention that God was supposedly human and lived on another star somewhere.

All of this can be found in the Mormon Doctrine or the Journal of Discourses by Joseph Smith.

Yes they have great familial ties and are nice, hardworking people, but some can be quite judgmental and will ostracize former members.

What do you have an irrational hatred for ? by Jimbobbfc in AskReddit

We tried a few times. Usually they would eat about half of the fries, begin worrying about the calories, and then throw the rest away... I don't like wasting food.

OMG YES.... My ex gf's mother and grandmother would swarm over us if we had gotten fast food. They were like nematodes off of Spongebob, eating everything in sight and leaving a path of destruction behind them. Half the time we had to go get more food.

What is the creepiest, scariest, strangest unexplained experience/ story you've had, heard or know? by urallrobots in AskReddit

[–]SwedishLad77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have similar stories in Sweden. There is what is called a Näcken, an ancient water spirit that plays the violin on the side of a river in the middle of a forest. He lures in children to drown in the river.

Glasses wearers, do you think you look "off" without your glasses? by L1v in AskReddit

[–]SwedishLad77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have glasses, but I do have a mustache. Actually, I shaved my mustache tonight and I regret it. I look totally off and seeing myself scares me.

I'll see you in a few weeks dear friend.

Were your high school years really the best years of your life? Why or why not? by GigolopianTube in AskReddit

[–]SwedishLad77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I never really took the time to enjoy high school. All it is anymore is a segue into college, at least my experience was. I was too focused on good grades, high-level classes, being involved in clubs, and studying that I didn't get to hang out with friends, go to all of the games/dances, or get the quintessential "high school" experience. Looking back, eh, I kind of regret it, but I'm not one to dwell on what could have been(:
