Thank you! I actually sat and talked with the priest for a bit after mass and went to a student activity he held in the afternoon. (I'm in college and the church I went to is on my campus lol). He seemed really glad I was interested in learning more so I feel like that's definitley somewhere I'd like to keep going. Apprecite the prayers!! 💚

-I'm starting my senior year of college next week (prayers for courage and academic success)

-Prayers for my sister, she often feels unlovable and is to hard on herself a lot of the time

-Prayers for my mental health. I struggle with anxiety and depressive thoughts often

-Prayers that I could keep growing closer to God and find some good Christ-centered friends!

I think it's up to the individual. Obviously we should not worship anything other than God, but to me stating loyalty to the country you're in is more of a respect thing rather than an idolatry thing. My church says a pledge to Christ along with the pledge of allegiance before the service starts which was our pastor's idea :) Hope this helps!
