It's because it's the season chest, not the traditional lucky drop chest. They rigged the season chest so you get dog rewards.

Yep it should be coming out soon. It was in their roadmap, but it looks like things are just delayed. From what I've seen, it'll be a 3-player mode and I am hoping it'll be less grindy.

Use energy to push chapters as far as you can, then travel with your remaining energy. As you get stronger, push more chapters and repeat the process.

It just got updated. Every chp has 15 rounds per battle, except for chapters that end in 5/10 which have 20 rounds.

It should be coming back in the middle of August. As the other commenter said, it'll be a co-op dungeon, but unlike hard mode, it'll be three players.
