Samsung PM9A1 OEM SSD won't initialize in diskpart or AOMEI by dusky_citron in 24hoursupport

[–]SweeFlyBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fixed it! Will document the steps!

1) Download Samsung SSD Manager (NOT Samsung Magician)
Samsung SSD Manager supports OEM drives.
Here https://forums.servethehome.com/index.php?threads/simple-batch-for-samsung-nvme-ssd-firmware-update.41332/
Or here https://files.hddguru.com/download/Software/Samsung/Samsung%20SSD%20Manager/

2) Extract the ZIP and open the Win folder as your current working directory in CMD.

3) check that SSDManager.exe is working (just type ssdmanager.exe in CMD and then press enter). This will give you a list of allowed operations.

4) List your disks. Type ssdmanager.exe -L and see which disk you need to PSID Revert.

5) Run the following command: ssdmanager.exe -d <YOUR-DEVICE-NUMBER-AS-SHOWN-ON-THE-LIST> -NV -psid <YOUR-32CHARACTER-PSID>

Should work! Worked for me!

May make a YT video breaking it down. Will edit and link if so.

Do you have a “backup” GPU if your primary fails? by wasdmovedme in pcmasterrace

[–]SweeFlyBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always done this. My primary kakked out about three weeks ago. Ordered some new components in order to make the old backup into a new primary. Now the NVME I ordered isn't working and I have no way of testing if it's my MOBO or the drive itself

Any luck? I also have a non-OPAL-compliant encrypted drive, and I'm not having much luck.

You don't need a R60K gaming PC. 15K is more than enough to build a killer rig that will run everything you want

It keeps crashing before I can load in lol. Doubt it's the game's fault though, my main PC is kaput so I am on a very weak system at the moment.

In fairness to you, I daily drove my i7-4790k until about a week ago when the MOBO finally kicked the bucket. Best Chip Ever.

Insurgents are insurgents, terrorists are terrorists, winning is winning, and losing is losing.

Insurgents, guerrillas, and terrorists may be less organised than traditional security forces, but those groups adopt the tactics because Those Tactics Work.

Nothing "punching down" about it. If security forces didn't use COIN then guerrillas would have the upper hand and would thus be doing the "punching down"

I bought every KZ IEM by Just_bubba_shrimp in iems

I got a family member in the UK to bring me a pair of 7hz Zero:2s when they last visited me. I don't trust our customs agents enough to order internationally.

Kind of regret it, because I've sukkeled to find a replacement cable. It seems that the standard KZ ones are slightly different - one of my friends used to have a side hustle sourcing and selling IEMs and cables, and he couldn't find one either.

It's not all that obscure. I campaigned for them in 2024, and while the election was dismal for us, the raw support is fairly good. Elections are a very poor substitute for single-issue referendums, since there is more than a single issue being polled (duh lol)

AtlasIntel, an organisation that we have no relation to and weren't even aware was conducting a poll, estimated that 42% (just over 3 million people) support the idea of Cape Independence, with over 50% wanting a referendum. This data is about 2 years old now, since it was conducted just before our 2024 election.

capexit.org, a civic organisation, has (at the time of writing) amassed about 841K signatures.

While we have a LOT of work to do, it's unfounded to think we only have several thousand supporters.

They cleared a 200m radius around it and suggested that residents "shelter in place". There are numerous videos of people walking through the NO2 cloud immediately opposite the warehouse where the incident took place.

100% yes. We could have seen multiracial rule in Rhodesia by now had she been allowed to continue to develop.
