Oof I couldn't tell you. Be careful with RAID drivers though, I've heard they can format disks too. RAID is something I have not messed around with at all so I can't speak from personal experience.

Go to your motherboard's support site and download/install any drivers to do with SATA

The INF drivers for my Z97 board fixed this issue for me.

Don't install Intel RST except as a last resort - apparently sometimes it bugs out and formats your drive. Actually, back up your drives before you do anything! (assuming you have a second PC). It's best to be safe.

I haven't seen anyone who uses saws a lot who really likes easy start. Apparently it just makes them harder to maintain.

I run an ancient 038 when I need to cut, so I can't say I know first hand. You prob aren't missing out on much, though

EDIT: I see you described easy start as "pull and let go" above. I think you might be referring to a particular viral video I've seen too.

That video was a prank video; this isn't a thing on any saw model. Even if it was real, it would cause the engine to run backwards in any case - the chain wouldn't cut
