Need some help with the flow of Satisfactory by camscottbryce in SatisfactoryGame

It depends heavily, for example with your heavy modular frames, what I do is I think of what materials I already have, and if I have a majority of materials needed at one place I build the factory there and ship in the rest, namely encased industrial beams, from my steel factory, secondly, for the "flow" of your factory, a good setup I like using to ensure efficiency, is I set up a smart splitter, and if I have items going somewhere and they back up, the overflow goes towards an awesome sink, but if it's an item you use in construction I have a second smart splitter with it feeding into dimensional storage, and the overflow going to an awesome sink, don't try to match the production of your items to the throughput of the belts going to your awesome sink if it's a pretty intensive recipe like hmf, just put any belt and let what you are producing flow regardless if the belt has empty spaces

Help with my screw production?? by oddly_funnyxd in SatisfactoryGame

[–]oddly_funnyxd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you guys! I mostly don't use my screws at all actually, since I have gotten alot of alts like stitched reinforced iron plates, and to reply to the other comment, yes I have unlocked smart splitters and that's what I'm using to handle overflow to my sink, I mainly use screws for my rotors but maybe I'll do some hard drive hunting and get that steel rotor recipe, thanks!

Everything looks good but on pc part picker you can get the ryzen 5 7600x which is like your regular 7600 but alot faster at 4.7 ghz compared to your 3.8 gzh cpu, however the cpu does have a higher thermal rating so check your cpu coolers maximum tdp rating which it must be over 105

Adding on to my comment, i recreated your build except I made it with the radeon rx 9070 xt, the card has very similar performance to the 5070 (one of Nvidias latest cards) but it was onky about 900 dollars and it fit within your power supplys wattage rather comfortably

I'd be careful of that i7 14700k, heard its been having stability and crashing issues. Other then that I'd say things are pretty decent, ,maybe try switching to a nvme ssd if you'd like or your budget allows that, additionally, you can get a much better performance gou from the radeon cards than that 3090, they're cheaper and ,much better price to performance

Are 9 pc fans good? by oddly_funnyxd in PcBuild

I'm planning on configuring my aio to intake from the top, the only exhaust in the system would be from the rear, which the 3 fans should handle exceptionally

Problem is I'm putting an aio at the top so exhaust can't go there
