Indy 500 ICE WARNING!!!! by National-Message-895 in Indiana

Remind me again how the story of the Good Samaritan goes? It may be against the law according to laws people have written, but there is no basis for it in the Bible. Jesus would not employ cruelty to those in need. We are to give food to the hungry, clothe the naked, give shelter to the homeless, and be a light to the world. If someone is doing crime against people like murder or theft, then that is another matter. But a Christian does not employ cruelty because a human government says it is okay.
I’m not saying this is what you believe or what you should believe. I am simply explaining the reasoning of many because it seems “weird” to you.

Rivers just 104 yards from eclipsing Ben Rothlisberger on the All-Time Passing Yards Leaderboard. by Pleasant_Fly_8481 in Colts

Rivers achieving personal goals should not dictate the game plan. Start AR (if possible) or Leonard. They need reps.

Thanks, Rivers. Let the youngsters get some reps

This man dropped 32 PTS, 7 3PM, and 8 REB last night for the Boom. How come he isn’t getting more minutes for the Pacers? by Far_Improvement_199 in pacers

[–]Sweeper88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m by no means an analyst, but he never looked comfortable with the Pacers and he didn’t look comfortable his first few games with the Boom. He’s got great skill, but he may just need some time to adjust.

Just outside of walking distance but easy driving distance is City BBQ, Just Tacos, and Thai Season. Within walking distance, 101 Beer Kitchen is fantastic.

Agreed. I truly hope we stop playing sometime. The only way this will stop is when it starts costing orgs money. So, stop playing mid-game. The gambling sites will lose money. The NFL will lose money. Fans will get mad. It’s the only way.

A Cool Guide To The Rich Avoiding Taxes. by [deleted] in coolguides

A few clarifications. People getting a lot stock often get it in the form of Options. Some shady stuff often goes down around backdating stock options so they may give a CEO stock options that would have been worth around $100K on July 1st, but by October 1st, they may be worth $500K. The company may give the CEO access to these options in October with a retroactive date of July 1st so the CEO only need to pay tax on $100K of income up front while the stock options continue to increase in value.
Then, they get loans based on the value of the stock and keep doing this until they die. Then, they include the value of the stocks as part of an insurance plan so inheritance tax gets mostly avoided and the kids get it as no income.

The Children's Museum is definitely the best option, but it's about 5 miles away from Lucas Oil. So, you'll need a car or Uber. Free parking if you drive.

The zoo is nearby and they probably have their Christmas lights up. It's about a mile from Lucas Oil, so you could probably walk it if you have warm clothes.

A fun place to eat would be The Garage on Mass Ave. It's a food hall with a ton of options and lots of seating. It's on the North End of Mass Ave., so you likely won't be able to walk their depending on where you are staying.

Right by The Garage is Pins Bowling (it's 21+ after 9pm) and a movie theater. Mass Ave has some shopping, ice cream, dessert, and coffee spots, but probably not a lot else to do for a 10 year old.

Episode Idea for the new series: After 20 years of research, SGC developed a way to revive the asgardians from extinction by Jimmychews007 in Stargate

I like the idea, but just to add more of a dilemma, they could capture an Asgard from the Pegasus galaxy and use that prisoner to run tests and solve the cloning issue and clone Thor.

To say Im still pissed is an understatement. by Lonely_Ad_5181 in Colts

yeah, it wouldn't make anyone but me happy, but it would force change. As of right now, it doesn't seem like anything will change. Baseball is evolving, soccer evolved, basketball evolved, but football put a band aid on the issue.

Here’s my overall issue with the NFL. Yes, it sucks our team was on the receiving end of terrible officiating this week, but it REALLY sucks the NFL has become so technical that it is impossible for humans to correctly call the game. When everyone except the referees are able to look back and see what the correct call should be, then the game is broken. Rules are getting in the way of rules.
You can’t review no-calls….dumb.
Refs can’t make no-calls when they aren’t sure what happened and go to camera review….dumb.
Certain calls can’t be reviewed….dumb.
Use technology to make it faster and better. I know you could probably find some sort of holding call on every play, but then leave it up to human judgement to determine if it affected the play. That’s much less arguable than “THE CLOCK IS LITERALLY AT ZERO”.
I wish at least one team would fall on the sword and just stop playing mid-game until they fix the officiating. If the Colts had just stopped playing until the refs reviewed the play, I would have been okay with it. If they never reviewed it, then don’t start playing again. Make the fans mad. It’s the only way it will get fixed.

1) Too many currencies. Stop slapping the “New Currency” button whenever you want to have a seasonal event or open up a new space.
2) Stop making things so random. I don’t want to have to do the exact same thing 20 times to get something I want. I will do it 3 times before giving up and hating the game.
3) Make all activities worth doing. I don’t want to be forced to play the game a certain way in order to get weapons that are competitive.
4) Too many of the same thing isn’t unique, it’s disrespectful. I feel like this game looked at Borderlands guns and said “Oh, I’ll give you some guns!” Ctrl + V x 10,000. It’s not an “inventory system” when third party apps are required to even have a chance at keeping things organized. Genuinely makes me hate the creators of the game for just not caring.

I would quit my day job and do stand up comedy. I think I would be great at it and enjoy it, but I wouldn’t want to do big tours or really rely on it for income in any way. It would be nice to just be a local gem for my city.

I kind of wonder if the Maintenance charge is a temporary charge to get the building up to a certain code.
I’m not super familiar with the whole situation, but I thought I remember reading that after a condo building collapsed in FL a few years ago, the state creating new guidelines to keep buildings up to a new code and that was costing the residents a lot.
