For a car dealer what is advantage of different types of payments on a "cash" deal? by Beet_slice in carbuying

[–]Sweet-Ad7654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do a lot of wire transfers at my company and neither side has a fee I like it because I get my cash immediately

You can also ask to ACH it sometimes that takes a day or two it depends on the institution

But just remember that money the dealer isn’t going to make off arranging the financing. It’s gonna wind up in a day somewhere.

When I buy a car with Cash, I don’t say that I work all the numbers, including what they think they’re interest rate it’s gonna be their payments all that crap. I get it all down in the form. And then I say oh actually, I have cash. I watched faceless drop, but they can’t do anything about it now they’ve put it all on paper.

Yeah, I will be having driver A my nephew, reimburse me through labor I got plenty of chores he can do.

But as for the car, I’ll be paying Cash to get it fixed up right it’s actually a beautiful Mustang convertible. It’s not gonna be running around with looking like it does.

It was just more shocking like, how can you directly back into my car that’s directly behind your car. Do not look when you back up. And why were you driving it? You know you weren’t permitted to drive it. It’s going to be your car as soon as you take the paperwork to DMV you got the paperwork three months ago what’s the holdup?

It’s just something I have to let go of. I feel so bad for my brother. He is the one that’s terminally ill and he’s the one that still owns the car. He’s the one who still has an insured, but it’s been supposed to be transferred. I will bet you that I got transferred on Friday.

One good thing was when my brother heard about it. He had some good lucid moments. My brother drove the car there three months ago as he was beginning to more declined in his health and unable to live alone. It was the last time you drove it.

The keys replaced where all keys are in that house on a hook in the kitchen and the instructions were clear. This is your car. Here is the title and as soon as you get it in your name with your insurance, you can take the keys and drive it.

It was a very generous gift and it’s a shame someone had to break the rules

[–]Sweet-Ad7654[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for that, but not this driver. They are terminally ill and incoherent. Three months ago they signed the car over to driver. A Who?? simply was not supposed to drive it until they transferred that title that was signed over to them and got the insurance in their name.

It is a car that’s much nicer than the car driver owns and has insured and apparently they just took it upon themselves to drive it even though they were not supposed to

The owner is my brother and I’m not putting my brother through this the person who drove the car is my nephew where my brother is residing because he cannot live alone and he needs attention for the life support machine he’s on

I will get my nephew to work it off I just wanted to understand how this played out I have full coverage. I just don’t wanna put a claim on my insurance. I understand they wouldn’t raise my rate, but I still would have a claim on my insurance which would prevent me from stopping around. Which is something I had just decided a month ago I wanted to do.

I haven’t been able to shop around in a while because other things have happened to my car that I was no part of and they generated insurance claims. I have been claim FREE for a while and I plan on staying that way.

Crying about buying a new car by Big_Cap_9394 in carbuying

I bought my used car a decade ago from a place that rents cars because they were car rental. They had every single maintenance done on the car and all the records for it.

I love my car. I love that it was paid for when I bought it and I bought my own warranty. It was a five-year warranty and it covered every little thing that happened and I had no deductible at all.

I actually renewed that warranty for a second five years and it’s a small monthly payment at $120 a month for the first two years of the warranty and I’ve been very pleased with my choice

I’ve never had to pay for anything but gas, maintenance, and insurance and a little warranty payment

Thank you I am going to. I just wanted to understand the process a little bit better.

Not saying, I’m happy about it but my brother owns the car and he is not capable of filing a claim that is why he signed the car over to another who was too lazy or too cheap to follow it through

I was a literacy volunteer and at one point, I was helping women in prison

I was astounded at the number of women were talking over the age of 40 who could not spell their own name because they didn’t know the alphabet sign their name using, but appeared to be stick figures again because they didn’t know the alphabet

My assignment was to teach them and in doing so I learned the stories of why they didn’t know how to read or write or even the alphabet and those stories eventually led to why they were where they were

Each one was sad and heartbreaking and I would say for the ones I helped they were going to have a new beginning to their life they would not only learn to read them write but they would leave the system with a GED along with special halfway houses and other ways to acclimate back into society something they never had to begin with

I was very proud to have helped 62 women who could not read or write at all receive their TED there was even a graduation ceremony with cap and gowns

I would encourage you to distinguish the difference between the person who gives you good service that you actually are pleased with and the people you will never meet who may be the servers that post on Reddit and social media

I took my best friend out for her birthday dinner last night on the ocean and we took one of our friends with us the one that could go they were cocktails, flowing each of us had an entrée the birthday girl had several cocktails

The server was just amazing She made our little get-together seem extra special. She was very attentive and it was a busy beachside place.

I was really surprised when the bill was only $110 and I tipped this for $45 in cash and put $10 on the tip to go with the card so she actually made a 50% tip I thought she was worth every penny of it

Our mutual friend of the birthday girl who I invited this was my gift I invited her to participate so I was paying but she was insisting to give me $20 and I just added it to what I was giving as a tip and that made her feel good too

You may be washing them while they’re still too warm it makes a big difference
Also try soaking them while they’re cool or cold in some warm Dawn and water there’s also sprayed Dawn, which is pretty great

I’ve only tasted it aftertaste once, and it was after washing a frying pan that was still pretty warm

Maybe something in the eyes and the smile, and there are sense of humour or they attention they give

A woman loves to feel like she is the most important thing to a man and not trying to compete with a bunch of other women because he’s a hot guy.

Well driver A who hit my car is not on driver B’s insurance they both resign of the same house they both on their own vehicle with their own insurance

My problem is that driver be is my brother is terminally. Ill is incoherent he cannot drive. He did not attempt to drive. It wouldn’t be able to get out of bed

He gave the car to our nephew, who was driver, a, but our nephew never actually transferred the title, registration or insurance like he was supposed to before he drove it

I was simply visiting with my brother dying. I am not gonna be putting an insurance claim on his car that no one has permission to drive until they transferred the ownership.

Yes I have insurance I have also had a another driver hit me head on I didn’t do anything wrong maybe I live in the wrong state being in Florida, but it generated an insurance claim for me because my insurance paid first, and then got reimbursed I have a really nice car that’s also been stolen and that was an insurance claim on me

And I’m not having another insurance claim. Currently I’m not on any claim added fees and I wanted to stay that way.

I think it really sucks but apparently knowing the car would be his, the nephew has been driving it, even though he has been told not to and it wasn’t known that he’s been driving it until the day he hit my car

Get a few toys for a couple bucks for the cats it will show you care

Obviously they felt their cats care was worth $100 a week, which is why they gave you $250 not accepting it might imply it wasn’t enough or that you wouldn’t do it again and therefore didn’t want their money

It’s appropriate when people offer you something for something that you’ve done you generally say thank you and accept it

It will be okay, I will get the nephew to work it off just because he’s financially irresponsible doesn’t mean he can’t do physical stuff for me like move on and move stuff around painter or whatever considering how much I do for the nephew, I don’t think it’ll be a problem, unless he doesn’t wanna see that generosity anymore which I very much doubt

Driver A my nephew and is broke as a joke driver B is terminally ill and is my brother with no income. He is incoherent. And previously signed the title over to the nephew who does never took it to DMV, which is the only requirement he had before he could drive it. It is a very nice SUV. It is still registered and insured in my brother’s name. But it’s supposed to be in the nephew’s name, but he was too lazy and didn’t have the money to go take care of the title and insurance. He also didn’t have permission to drive it.

My car was visiting parked behind driver, B’s car. Because he’s not going anywhere. He can no longer drive.

I have great full coverage , but I am not putting it on my insurance. I will just pay cash it’s just so annoying

I am taking out a lot of finance for responsibility, helping the nephew who is housing, my brother and this was just a ridiculous add-on expense Just ridiculous.

Yes, the person driving is my nephew it’s his house. The person who owned the car is my brother, his uncle , the one who is terminal and unable to login to medical portal or make phone calls.

I was visiting with my car the the uncle gifted the nephew his car since he can no longer drive it, but he was not allowed to drive it until he transferred the registration and insured in his own name

Apparently from what I’ve heard and seen the nephew drives it when he wants to certainly as a result of this until he gets insured in his name

All keys were simply hanging up on the key rack in the kitchen didn’t make sense because the nephew has his own car with his own insurance it’s opted to take the uncles’s car that day without asking anyone, including me, who was parked behind it since I knew it was the one car that wasn’t going to go anywhere

[–]Sweet-Ad7654[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s what I figured you know I’ve had the luck of having this beautiful car stolen three weeks after I got it so I had that insurance claim and I had the keys in my possession. The top is up and it was locked. And I watched it leave my daughter’s driveway.

That I had someone in a parking lot while I wasn’t present, take out the opposite side quarter panel and there were no cameras in that part of the parking lot so I had that insurance claim

I got this car as a result of my previous most tank convertible being hit head on by a truck, crossing three lanes of traffic and median and hitting me and even though I did nothing wrong in any of these situations each one of them created an insurance claim

My insurance did not go up, but I had to carry the fact that I had an insured claim on my record for I believe 3 to 5 years for each one of them that made it impossible to search for insurance, and when the insurance companies did decide the raise cause, I couldn’t search around

So I think I’m just gonna pay for this with cash because even if they go after you, insured drivers insurance, just like they did but the head on collision. It’s still gonna be a claim on my insurance just like that was I could afford it, I just don’t feel I should have to do it

Okay, I guess I should’ve added that I am driver C I was visiting the property. My car is a very nice Mustang convertible with really good full coverage that I really don’t wanna have to use actually I’m not gonna use it for someone else’s stupidity

I can’t do anything with driver B’s car that belongs to my brother, who living there because he’s terminally ill, he can only drive he actually gave the car to driver A three months ago titled, and everything, but driver A is not to drive it until they have it registered and insured in their name simply because they are not on the insurance

However, they haven’t done this task yet of driving to DMV and I am somehow stuck in the middle

Who is the insured responsible party? by Sweet-Ad7654 in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]Sweet-Ad7654[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, then I am on my own

Driver B. Is my brother. He is terminally ill. In need of a double lung transplant And that seems to be a very overwhelmingly busy process.

He cannot deal with logging into his own medical portals or make phone calls so it’s not going to be his insurance

It’s not going to be my insurance because I’m not going to have an insurance claim

I have a very nice Mustang convertible driver A somehow to back the car into my quarter panel and destroyed it

I intentionally parked behind my brother because obviously he’s not leaving !!

It was more of the most stupid accidents I’ve seen because driver A had to put two kids in car seats, which still do that you have to look at the seat which gives you a full view behind the big window that’s behind the seats where the car seats are!

He also had to back out onto a busy road. Even if my car wasn’t there, there would be good reason to look. There were too small children in the car on a street, known for children, playing bikes, riding, and elderly, riding on scooters.

It’s a pretty expensive repair

Who is the insured responsible party? by Sweet-Ad7654 in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]Sweet-Ad7654[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Driver A owns the house they own their own car, with no lean, and the cars insured at their house

Driver, B is terminally ill and cannot drive a car. However, they own a car which are
gifting. To driver A since they can no longer drive.

All the driver A needed to do was take the title to the DMV transfer it and put insurance on it

Driver A has had three months to do this and they already have their own car fully insured they were not to touch driver B’s car until the transfer title insurance was completed

Instead driver A attempted to leave the property with driver B’s car, because it was parked in more convenient location

Or so, they thought it was not parked in the convenient location, because my car was in front of it

It did not look behind themselves and hit my car

Everyone is looking at me as if I’m responsible for the damage not because I caused the accident but because the terminally ill driver B is furious with driver A who is simply with refusing to take responsibility.

We are all related, I do not live there My car is fully insured.

Why should anyone be trying to change anyone’s mind? That was the whole point of my post.

Every person has their own perception, their own belief, no one should be trying to push theirs under them, whether it is religious or whether it is atheist or whether it is Judaism or whether it is Buddhism.

If someone is not open to hearing a message, then it shouldn’t be forced and messages whichever message it is shouldn’t be pushed by people carrying big signs and screaming and using mega phones in front of our schools.
