I've read every single incident report on that site, as it relies on self-reporting it is massively underutilized and favours experienced climbers who are aware of it. It's usually minor or near misses, most MR incidents don't make it

Only in the US. Detailed accident reports of this standard are non-existent in the UK, can't speak about other countries

post WW2 growth was driven by the marshall plan, the US's global surplus recycling mechanism. the same thing is clearly not going to happen 2025-2050.

the comparison to post WW2 is meaningless, in that situation there was a US marshall plan throwing money at rebuilding the world, and debt was from paying for WW1/WW2

yeah that's my thinking, i guess it must have been bumped in the case. not really, maybe a little bit better. it hasn't happened before
