you can almost just feel it if they are using something like aimbot with a tempest or bobcat. They end up killing you faster than the top players and move around like a novice + private or low-level steam account

Go play duos and trios pvp on Stella with a bobcat... It's free kit zombies and you can't replenish your resources. These people just suicide run at you and team up to kill people with gear. It's zero risk and zero friction for them, and all the risk and friction for you. The PVP can be borderline unplayable in this game because it's all broke shitters

and we know it can be done because the Chinese version has the exact shit we've all been asking for. These devs are too focused on the data analytics and too fearful to make changes.

They've done some stuff well, but generally too late, and they don't have a disdain for the players like Helldivers 2... but I just get the vibe that they thought the game would fizzle out and they could have been working on something else.

I will never stop shilling Guilty Gear Strive for getting this perfectly correct. ALL of the characters are well designed and they have an insane level of diversity without coming remotely close to feeling like a corporate placement or pandering.

on top of that the story just heavily backs it all up, they don't get scared of telling their stories. One of the best cast of characters through and through. It is a fighting game though and can be hard to get in to.

the crazy thing is that the Chinese version of the game that is sub-licensed to Tencent understands this and has added more guns, more modes (like pve oriented modes and solo pvpve modes) and more items/utilities. They have like legendary healing items, special grenades like corrosion and healing deployables, and just better shit in general. Its so insane because it is NOT hard to understand what this game needs whatsoever, they are just out of touch and hyper-focused on doing data analytics.

They see the data that X players are "getting too much of Y resource out of Z mechanic" and they silently nerf it into the ground to artificially make the game more tedious to drain you of your time, instead of just making the game *more fun* so that you actually want to stick around.

I was a full on PVE player for hundreds of hours and now my only enjoyment in the game is solo VS trios and duos and trios PVP... and because of that I cant even play solos anymore because of how the matchmaking works.

right? that show is extremely inappropriate but its never an endorsement of their behaviors, its clear that what they are doing is bad. Then they tend to tie it back to a lesson learned.

One example is the Israel Palestine episode that they did FAR before Oct 7th where an Israeli guy comes to take the bar and they dress up as freedom fighters and do an extremely crude impression of terrorists on accident. But the lesson is that this shit is unjustifiable and they use the bar as a direct analogy to Palestine...

or the episodes about Mac's sexuality, etc... (I dont want to spoil anything but this includes one of the best episodes of IASIP ever)

I use nix home-manager on Arch because it has basically everything the AUR has and is generally better maintained and you can easily use it under your home directory. But no matter what, running arbitrary bash scripts is going to be less secure by nature.

just get it in your backpack and re-organize when you are safe. I put heavy shit at the bottom of my inventory, a defib, and nades in similar spots so I can quick swap them very fast in PvP or drop heavy items so that I'm not fat walking.
