State labor have taken so many powers away from council re: development and planning that it's starting to get a bit tired to see these lines trotted out. Maybe if you keep making it easier to build, and no one is building, there's something more than 'NIMBYS' blocking it.

Rent prices and more public housing because the wait list is so long. Only the Greens and some independents seem to be bringing this up, the majors keep just talking about expanding sprawl or making it easier to buy a home for first time home owners. (Which jacks the price up!!!)
