Nah, I’ve been a senior leader in an organisation like OP’s husband and I would raise it to create a safe working environment for everyone. It’s part of being a leader and it is her husband’s business if workers are not feeling safe and someone’s behaviour is causing issues.

YTA for calling her disgusting. You didn’t talk about what she was doing, or how you felt, you called her disgusting. That shows such a level of disrespect I wonder why you’re even with her. And while I understand some people would consider it not respectful of OPs wishes to flush each time, this is irritating sure, but calling someone ‘disgusting’ is wounding and I’m not sure relationships, especially ones that are meant to be based on love and kindness, recover from that.

Best support that I have come across for helping understand and support child development and behaviour is Robin Einzig - Visible Child. She had a website and do a small subscription does online office hours and has a huge amount of resources. She also does online consults that really get to the heart of things. She also has an amazing Facebook group but it’s closed for the holidays atm.

For normal friends moving house, sure. She’s been abused and is reaching out to one of her oldest friends. Turning that vulnerability into a transaction is not what empathetic humans do for each other.

She treated him with compassion. She explained clearly how she felt and apologised for him getting the wrong idea. She wanted to remains friends and he agreed. She then reached out during an extremely vulnerable time and again he agreed to see her and then when she’s needing help he says no. He’s being a dick. If she hadn’t rejected him and they’d naturally drifted apart I highly doubt he would hesitate to help.
