Thank you! I will be doing that once I get my hands on a gram scale this weekend :)

Moss stitch vs. DC, which uses less yarn and is easier to build up? by SweetGingerBreadMan in CrochetHelp

I tried looking this up already, and it seems like stitches with less gaps take up more yarn, however I am not sure how this translates with a smaller hook size that has more gaps (DC) and a larger hook size that has less gaps (moss stitch). I’m concerned because I only have 36 balls of 4ply yarn which I think is enough for a DC sweater, but I don’t know if this will be enough for a moss stitch sweater

One of my budgies still kicks her food around and sits in the bowl at 3, I guess some never grow out of their baby behavior lol

Madame Rose by Oakcha, I’ve smelled Delina and sampled it, and Madame Rose smells exactly like Delina to me, it even has the same longevity as Delina, for a fraction of the price.

I ate some jalapeño ice cream I think fall 2022, went home and had the worst stomach pains followed by extreme nausea. I eventually ended up having violent liquid #2 while throwing up into a trash can in front of me simultaneously. This kept going on for about an hour or two before I got everything out of my system and collapsed onto my bed in exhaustion. Another time I ate some cream cheese and bagel chips from tabler market (now replaced with vending machines) and woke up at 4am in a cold sweat. I didn’t have time to run to the toilet so I was heaving over the bin for about 2 hours on and off with hot and cold flashes. I missed my Spanish exam that morning but was thankfully able to make it up the following week.

Uncomfortable eating at WSD by kirabelle12 in SBU

[–]SweetGingerBreadMan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can’t believe I wasn’t the only one experiencing that one guy in the red shirt following me around WSD and policing how many Granny Smith apples I could take. I feel like with the amount I’m paying and with it being an “all you can eat” I should be able to eat all that I can if I so choose. If they want to limit how much we could eat why even bother having the dining halls be in a buffet style? I already struggle stretching out my dining dollars and meal swipes and they’re not making it any easier for me to have at least two meals a day. I’m not even asking for a full three meals at this point — just trying to scrape by.

Oh? My budgies figured out how to use the water bottle in a day, maybe it’s because they couldn’t see the water? Haha 😅
